well, since it's all assembled and I can look back objectively, I can make a better assessment. I am not an imbecile. I'm 71 yet I've taken on bigger challenges. However.....no, this is NOT an easy assembly. Yes, I do agree that one person could assemble the bed, but it would be so much easier with two people. It would be nice if there was wording along with the pictures. Nice looking and seems sturdy.

This bedframe is just beautiful! Love the lighter wood. Definitely gives a farm house kind of feel. Also great if you were not one that likes to have the underbelly of the bed exposed. My dogs always try to crawl and reduce so this is fantastic. It keeps them out. Assembly was not horrible… Follow the instructions and you will be fine! Feels very sturdy and stable. Definitely recommend!

I’m genuinely impressed with the IDEALHOUSE Platform Bed Frame in twin size. From delivery to setup, the whole experience was smooth and hassle-free. The package arrived on time, neatly packed, and all the hardware was individually labeled, which made assembly a breeze. This bed is fairly easy to assemble with the very minor exception that there were a couple of screw holes that were not fully burred out, so we had to fix that, but it was an easy fix. The bed has the wood skirting on all four sides, which means no underbed storage, which is perfect for our needs, as our kid can't hide stuff under there. It is also low to the ground with no head or footboard; it is a simple bed frame, but it seems to be a quality bed frame. After putting the metal frame together, there are foam pieces to put in the center to help with the grip of the slats and keep the bed from squeaking when it moves. It really does not wiggle or move at this time, once it has been put together and is sturdy. For a simple bed frame, I believe that this is worth the cost. Plus, it comes with everything you need to put it together, no extra tools required.
