I searched high and low to find the appropriate thin rug to go over the hardwood floor under my pool table-–just for looks, mainly. It worked great. I bought a product from a different company that sells "piping" to make the edges look finished. Wasn't an easy process, but it came out very cool looking. My reason for not giving 5 stars is because the rug came folded, tightly crammed in a too-small box which caused major creases. It never quite laid down flat where the most severe fold creases were. But I have double-back carpet tape under those spots and it's flat. I'd recommend it. Just plan on dealing with those creases that may or may not go away on their own.
