This is the nicest velvet you can buy. Sectional is beautiful, somewhat firm at first but nice and sleek. I wish seating area is deeper and back is not so upright but this unit lays flat if needed so that makes up for other details. I had some challenge with fitting arm rest but I LOVE this sofa. Bought at half off, still, meh. I had to drill sixteen new holes for the wood screws - QC issue. If you like very firm, it is, just not very comfortable. Delivery was slow, packaging very damaged, but sofa was fine. Grey appears to be a bluish-grey. The lock/unlock mechanism is sketchy and when both pieces are locked up, the backrests do not line up. It fills a space, it's a place to sit, that's about it. I give it a 2 1/2 stars (only 'cause the sun's out). ... show more

I love everything about this sofa! With a few small exceptions. In order for it to convert to a sleeper you need two people on either side to move it away from the wall, that’s all good and fine but the way the arms of the sofa attach to it this can be a tad bit cumbersome. But I don’t convert the sofa often so that’s prettt nitpickey. I have had guests sleep on it converted and not converted (the sofa is HUGE) and they said it was comfortable. NOTE: this is not an “overstuffed” couch, if you’re looking for something you can sink into this is not the couch for you. I like firmer couches so this is a plus to me. I just added a bunch of throw pillows for comfort. The color is rich and the velvet is so so soft. I have two black cats so was very skeptical about the velvet material, but I find the hair to be so easy to remove bc it doesn’t get stuck in the weave of the fabric and they don’t seem to be overly interested in scratching it. Overall I highly recommend this sofa if you’re looking for a firm large statement piece. ... show more

My wife hates the color of it so it’s mostly covered up with other blankets to block the bright pink. It’s kind of hot reddish pink. I love that it folds into a bed. There is a ridge or high spot though in the middle. My wife also bought some memory foam to put on top of it so we don’t feel the ridge. Overall I’m happy with the couch. But never again will I get it in this god awful color. ... show more

As much as I paid for this couch you’d think it would be comfortable. I haven’t really sat on my couch, but now that I have I just say it’s uncomfortable. It sinks in and I can feel the hard wood. No support! And it’s already making the creaking noises as if I’ve had it for years versus 5 months.
