The doors are reversible, allowing them to swing open to the left or right. The beveled door frame screws down to cover drywall edges. Includes a protective mud guard for the rough-in phase and two bottom power knockouts for AC outlets and cable exits on all sides. Install ICC plastic grommets (SKU ICRESDCAC3), sold separately, to protect cables.

This recessed panel was used to contain an energy monitor that was not big but the amount of wires involved required a good amount of room in the box. Was easy to install and even though I did not use the data / phone interfaces they look very weel assembled to me. The construction is sturdy for what it is and will certainly buy another one when I complete my telecom room in my basement.

I searched quite a bit trying to find some reviews of this structured wiring enclosure. I didn't find much but decided to take a chance because of the reasonable price and previous experience with ICC products. I'm glad I did. This worked well for my small house structured wiring installation. The enclosure and components are good quality and were easy to install. Just be sure to pay attention to the wiring diagrams provided. The unit was installed 5 months ago and has not had any problems

Updating an old house and used this panel to centralize all those cables run around the exterior of the house...now I can pull them all into the attic and run them into this box. We've ditched land-lines so we won't be using the phone portion. Also will be using this box to run data lines throughout the house for greater data speeds. Clean install in an empty wall cavity with a couple of drywall screws and completely customizable.
