  • Productivity Meets Entertainment
I was pretty worried I'd end up getting unlucky and receiving a defective or DOA computer. Needless to say, it came working perfectly. That's just how it is when you play the Amazon lottery I guess. Pros: With the 40x series cards officially no longer being produced, I'm so glad I was able to nab a 4070tiS. It's a beast of a card with a lot of VRAM to boot. The 7900x in conjunction with the 4070tiS make this computer a productivity animal. Ryzen multicore performance is unmatched. I only play in 1080p 100hz for my main monitor (lol) and it's ran everything I've thrown at it with max settings without flinching. My Wacom 24 pro is a 2160x1440p and programs that used to lag heavily, especially art programs when I'd use larger complex brush sizes, flow very well. In theory I could use this as a monitor for gaming and run at maxed settings, but it'd kill my neck haha. Blender is able to render high sample objects much much faster, to the point I don't think I'll have to opt for render farms when doing animations and can just let my computer run overnight (the cooling on this computer is amazing, temperatures struggle to get over 60C even under full load. I wonder how this will fare in the hot summer heat). Diffusion models can produce batches of 8 in less than 20 seconds, XL models around a minute or less, I'm currently experimenting with video diffusion models on comfyUI and while those are way outside the league of this computer, it actually does surprisngly decently. The mouse and keyboard are pretty eh. I already owned a g502, and keyboard has a nice sound/feel to it, but the space bar springs can be kind of noisy if you're not using headphones. Cons: The only thing I really miss are the thunderbolt ports on my old desktop. USB C ports are lacking, and the ones that are on the computer can't transmit large amounts of data which means I had to use a DisplayPort cable for my Wacom. So just be aware if you're upgrading from a setup that makes use of Thunderbolt or more robust USB 3.2, this computer has some limitations in that regards. The desktop also has iBuyPower icons replacing things like Window explorer, which seemingly vanished after 1 restart causing the Window Explorer icon to be blank in task manager. There was also already a user folder created alongside my own that says "ADMINI~1". I'm not sure if this is a byproduct of how they configured the desktop or because of Microsoft account migration, but I'm going to assume it's because of them given older migrations never cause this. In addition, the Windows OS came inactivated. Make sure to double check that by searching activation settings in start menu, if it isn't then validate it to activate it. ... show more

  • Perfect for gaming a must have
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Solid Powerhouse — Be Mindful of Cooling 🧠 Performance & Hardware The Y60 is customizable, but popular configurations pack serious firepower—like an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X paired with an NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti Super, 32GB DDR5 RAM, and 2TB NVMe SSD. This combo delivers exceptional streaming, productivity, and gaming headroom. In benchmarks, it hits ~130 fps in titles like Shadow of the Tomb Raider at 1080p and mid‑60s fps at 4K settings in demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077 or Red Dead Redemption 2 . 🎮 Real-World Gaming With RTX 4070 Ti-level graphics and DLSS support, you can expect smooth 1440p gameplay and decent 4K performance with some settings scaled back. It competes comfortably with similar systems that cost more (). 🏗️ Design & Build Housed in the visually striking HYTE Y60 chassis with three tempered glass panels and RGB lighting, this build is a showpiece — if you’re up for the desk space requirements . Build quality is generally praised, and reviews highlight its easy-upgrade design and included accessories like a keyboard and mouse . 🌬️ Cooling Caveats However, the vertical GPU mounting inside the case places the card close to the glass, which can restrict airflow—leading to potentially higher temps or even USB controller overheating for some users . Some Reddit users also reported instability issues like random system shutdowns or boot loops related to thermal stress or component failures . Many users recommend aftermarket cooling upgrades, such as swapping the AIO liquid cooler or adjusting airflow in the case to keep thermal performance in check . 🔌 Ports & Connectivity The Y60 offers extensive connectivity: multiple USB-A ports (including USB 3.2 Gen 2/3 and even a USB‑C), DisplayPort and HDMI outputs, 2.5 Gb Ethernet, optical S/PDIF, Wi‑Fi, and even PS/2 legacy support . Tom’s Guide highlights the roomy interior which makes DIY upgrades surprisingly simple . ⚖️ Value & Support — Pros: • High‑end components offer powerful gaming and multitasking at a competitive price • Clean, eye-catching build with RGB lighting and accessories included • Room for future upgrades, SSD expansion, and easy access to internals Informal feedback shows reliable performance for most users, with strong satisfaction around build quality and ease-of-use . — Cons: • Cooling challenges from vertical GPU placement and glass panel restriction • Occasional reports of system instability or component failure and frustrating customer support experiences 🛍️ Final Verdict If you’re looking for a high-performance gaming and creative PC that looks amazing and delivers excellent frame rates at 1080p and 1440p, the iBUYPOWER Y60 Black is a compelling option—especially for its price point. Just be aware of potential cooling issues related to the vertical GPU mount, and consider additional airflow or upgraded cooling parts. For most users, it’s a powerful, visually impressive entry into high-end gaming rigs—worth it as long as you’re willing to monitor temperatures and possibly tweak cooling. ... show more

  • Gpu arrived defective
Product seems like a work of art. Too bad I didn’t get to experience it. I’m not wasting time calling support to get the run around. This Gpu arrived broken. The pins are bent and the Gpu does not sit flush in the pcie slot. The computer booted and tricked me into thinking it was good. As soon as I booted up a game I realized something was very wrong. I checked the Gpu monitoring system where it said it was running at 0%. This is concerning as that means it’s defective or not plugged in. And it was well plugged in on arrival. Upon further inspection I noticed the terminal damage the computer has. The most expensive part of the pc dead on arrival. This is bull. I don’t believe it could have been this badly damaged in delivery but more so overlooked most likely during the build. I received it today 2/10 and will be returning it tomorrow 2/11. I’m not messing around with waiting for another to arrive to me. I’m going to a store to purchase one and inspect it in the store. This is too expensive of an item to be screwing people over like this. ... show more

  • Ibuypower gaming pc
The media could not be loaded. Love the pc. Runs great.. had it almost a year now and still going strong.. I did do a few mods and add ons.. the first pic is when I received it and the rest is how it looks now. But it's a great computer and can handle pretty much everything I throw at it.

  • Great Value but ...
This PC offers excellent performance per dollar. It is easy to setup and use. That said, one of the two RAM sticks failed on mine after 2 months of use. No clear cause. Replacing the RAM stick fixed the problem.

  • Excellent
Works just great easy to install. Looks phenomenal speeds are great. Gaming is great on the computer end unfortunately the internet service out here hampers that side.
