  • This is a great rack and pack.
Style: Disc Brake Rack+Trunk Bag
This was for my mountain bike and allowed me to carry all my climbing gear to the gym. But it worked so well I now use it for my locks, repair kit, and anything else I need when biking. Just stuff it in somewhere, there are lots of pockets. I thought the weight might be a problem but I don't really notice it. I thought the rattling might be a problem on dirt, but it is no louder than the rest of the bike rattling. It's super rugged and well padded (which is why it's quiet). Once you get the rack installed, the pack is super easy to get on and off. Yet still it is very secure. Highly recommend this solution. ... show more

  • High quality construction, very practical, slick and a good value.
Style: Non-disc Brake Rack+trunk Bag
This is a great commuter bag, and the bag/rack combo is a good value. The bag is well made and very practical in terms of total capacity as well as the various compartments. It is lightweight, has a nice solid base, and a shoulder strap all of which make it convenient to use off the bike. Compared to some other options out there I explored like the Topeak, I felt this bag was better constructed and of a higher quality. (I also think it's more attractive.) The locking mechanism on the bag/rack works very well and the bag is securely fastened to the rack with both a front tongue and a rear clip. It is definitely not going anywhere. I like also that the rack allows the use of side paniers in addition to the trunk bag. Installing the rack is pretty straightforward although I will note a couple of things. First, the rack arrived somewhat wider than expected and I actually had to band the arms in a bit to get it to fit. Perhaps it comes that way to accommodate a wider variety of bikes. Secondly, after mounting the rack is slightly tipped forward. Another reviewer here indicated Ibera could provide longer arms to allow for a more level rack, so I plan to call them and ask for those parts. Otherwise I have nothing but good things to say about this well designed, well made, attractive, highly functional commuter rack/bag. ... show more

  • Very useful and secure
Style: Combo-compact
Excellent product! Very secure, super easy to install. Love that the bag clips off and you can take it to go with the shoulder strap. Highly recommend.

  • A very nice bag/rack setup for day trips, but it may not fit your bike
Style: Combo-regular
I opted for this setup over a Topeak clip on bag because the bag mounting/clip system looked a little easier to operate and the price was somewhat lower. In those regards this is a great bag. I can unclip the bag in roughly two seconds and take it with me into the office, into the gym, or anywhere I need to go. The bag itself is a great value and well built. The base looks like carbon fiber (cool) but is some sort of hard plastic. The 5 pockets are well thought out and carry everything I need in quick reach. I have been using the side pockets for tools, the small top pocket for easy access to a U-lock, the back pocket for a few quick snacks, a small notebook and a pen (yes I record my milage the old fashioned way), and the main pocket for bigger things like a jacket, a lunch tupperware, or any other "largeish" items. The best way I can describe the size of the main pocket is similar to a large loaf of sliced bread. You could probably get a bit more in there if you wanted to, but thats what would fit comfortably. The rack is solid once you get it installed. Unlike some of the Topeak bar racks, Ibera has opted for an allen wrench mount over a quick release. Part of me likes this because it will keep most people from walking off with the rack, but it does mean you need a tool to adjust it (which is conveniently in my bag so thats usually OK). The one thing that makes the rack not quite ideal (and brings the review home at 4 stars) is how it fits on the bike rack. I knew that it had a fixed angle mount (so depending on the angle of your seat post it may not sit level, but I hadn't thought about just how this might effect the fit of the bag on the bike. I ride a 60cm Diamondback Podium 3. Its a relatively big bike (I'm 6'3") and the bag fits...but barely. Because of the angle of my seat post, the height of the seat, and the position of the back wheel, the bag sits right up against the seat. It had been touching before I realized that you could move the bag farther back on the rack. This can make it difficult to get to the zippers and makes attaching and detaching the bag more difficult than it should be. Topeak makes non adjustable bar racks with a raise (Topeak QR Beam Rack MTX Bicycle Rack) and a drop (ACTION CARRIER TOPEAK BEAM MTX V(LARGE) QR) platform which could help you avoid this (but their racks cost as much as this setup), but Ibera also makes an adjustable rack that will be compatible with just about any bike should you get a new one (this rack was not available on amazon at the time of this review. The rack is product number IB-RA13 on Ibera's website). Overall I like this rack setup a lot. Its probably not big enough for bike camping or hardcore bike touring, but it can be your primary bag for a long ride and you could probably even squeeze in a few of your friends cliff bars when he's out of room. It's well built and feels very secure on the bike. The only drawback is the included rack and its fit on large (and likely small bikes). I do wish we had the option to purchase this set (to save a few dollars) with either the adjustable rack or a fixed high or low rack. But beggars can't be choosers and for the price this setup is very nice. 4 stars ... show more

  • Great bag
Style: Disc Brake Rack+Trunk Bag
Very nice bag, especially if you have the ibera rack. Be aware that this bag is big. Holds a large amount of stuff but I didn't realize how big it actually is. Pleasant surprise.

  • good bag
this is a great lil bag. i tried it out 2 days ago. steers a lil different with the weight in the back but still easy to manover. but i did not have to carry heavy gear on my back! in fact i also carried my friends gear for him as well. expect 2 pay $100-$120+ at the bikeshop for something like this. easy clip on and off. well made strong plastic not brittle. easy clip off for when i parked my bike. i baught a cooked chicken at the market and rode it home in this bag and arrived home to eat chicken fine and not a drop spilled in the bag. you do not have to take the seat off to remove the brace. just an allen wrench takes it off. it comes off from the side. perfect to store bike tubes, pump, tools, keys, id/credit cards, money. extra clothes., soccer ball + cleats, solor panal, etc. in the picture the seat is way up. i attached it directly under the seat on my classic bianchi. i had to loosten the screws to put brace at max. legenth. but it fits very nicely and i can keep my seat low. i attached a strap so i can carry the bage like backpack. recomendation: buy the bag - good item good price. ... show more

  • Best clip-in rear bag for 2nd Battery on e-bikes.
Style: Combo-regular
This is my 5th bag for my 6 e-bikes. It is the largest size out there that has a plastic base that is clip-in & out and can accommodate the 20Ah block type e-bike batteries I use. It also works for most down tube 15Ah type batteries. The quality is the best I've found. Has plenty of pockets for portable air-pumps, tools, keys, retractable dog leashes, and whatever else you may need to take along for the ride. The seat post type have a removable rack that can easily be fixed to the existing rear racks on most e-bikes that have rear racks. If not you can purchase the universal one like I did on my first purchase. ... show more
