The wig is useless, so is the goatee. The shirt is a bit scratchy and the pants are elastic waist but it fit my husband and served it’s purpose for Halloween. My husband is a 33x32 pant and there was extra room if needed.

Costume was solid, specifically the wig and goatee. However, be warned that there are no pockets on the pants to carry anything, and the shirt and pants run pretty large. I am 5'10 180lbs and ordered a medium - I found myself stepping on the pants all night and the shirt was super baggy,

I'm going to be honest, it's not GREAT but for the price I wasn't expecting it to be exceptional. The colors are a muted version of what is shown. The material is thin, but will keep you warm. Trying it on indoors where it is 73 degrees, I felt warm. Definitely would not describe it at one size fits all. I'm not a big girl, 5'6", 160lbs with most of it on my "midsection" (thighs, butt and lower abdomen). I usually wear size medium/size 9 and the top is snug on me and short (I have a short torso). There is a seam right in the middle back of the top that is a bit uncomfortable. The ends of the sleeves do not look finished and neither does the skirts hem. The skirt doesn't really look anything like the photo. The redeeming quality is that it is a long skirt so I can wear it high to cover what the shirt may reveal. The waist is elastic so it stretches which is also a plus. The wig isn't bad, a little wonky on one side, where the front of the bob flips out. Glasses aren't bad either, but the lenses are a bit tented, so I will be wearing my regular glasses that will fit the character. I'm not all that disappointed for paying only $25. Wish I would have purchased it when it was a bit cheaper though. The quality of this costume could be easily improved. I would not mind paying more if it actually looked like what is displayed on the packaging. However, for a few hours of use I think it will be fine. ***UPPDATE*** After some googling, I was able to make the wig a little less crazy in the front with some water, a flat brush and a blow drier set to warm. I washed the costume on "hand wash" in cold water and air dried it in the dryer. The wrinkles did come out, so I turned the top and skirt inside out, places a damp towel on top of it and ironed on the cotton setting with steam as usual. Ta da! Wrinkle free. I also noticed the costume was less itchy after a wash. I wore the costume to accompany my daughter as Scooby Doo to a Trunk or Treat event for my Husband's work and received a lot of compliments!

This review is for the Shaggy costume. I added a pic of the rest of my Mystery Machine crew so you could compare purchasing items at a thrift store (everyone else) and purchasing the “official” costume. Me. The shirt was good. The pants were okay. I’m 5’11, wear a 33x30. This costume was for a Relay, and the pants fell down while running but were okay while not moving much. There are no pockets. I ended up wearing brown denim by the end of the day. The beard is garbage. It stayed on for exactly 10 seconds for one group photo, but didn’t even last multiple pictures. The wig is the star of this show. It was really hard to determine whether it resembled roadkill or a squirrel orgy. We settled on the best of both worlds... dead squirrel orgy. I posted a bathroom selfie so you could see that it came out of the package looking like Cruella DeVil, but morphed throughout the day to “what the f is that?!” I am convinced that it hasn’t even reached its final form, so I am looking forward to Halloween to see what it becomes next. All and all, we had a great time making fun of it, but that’s the primary function of this wig. If you are debating between this and going to grab a green shirt and brown pants from a thrift shop, you could go with this. If you are trying to get the beard and hair, move along or be prepared to have a good sense of humor about it.

The girl in the stock photo obviously had it altered. I am 5'2'' and 103 lbs. It is sold as a 1 size fit all dress....but when I got it, i saw the "xxl" tag on the dress... I guess what the manufacturers did was that they had too much xxl dresses in their inventory and decided to sell it as "1 size fits all" and they forgot to remove the "xxl" tag that was originally there. Point is... it is extremely large, and the dress went past my knew and was very wide. The width of the boots were very large as well. I am slender and the elastic did not hold the boots up. There is another Daphne dress amazon offers and it is super cute and sexy....but it is 60$+ shipping and tax..and I didn't feel like spending that much money. However, i was prepared at how ill fitted it would be...but for 20$, I figure I would just buy it for the material and alter everything myself. I ended up cutting 6 inches from the dress and hemming it down to a size zero. I had to re-do the elastic on the boots. I didn't like the wig at all, it looked extremely cheap and the color was too intense, I bought a different wig instead. But if you do not want to invest in a different wig, I suggest soaking it in conditioner then letting it hang to air dry, it should be easier to manage after that. Anyway, the end product turned out great. I threw my costume away after 2 nights of use. It was money well spent. Here is a picture of myself in the costume after the alterations. I modernized "daphne" a bit and made her into "Hipster Daphne" by wearing a knitted cap.

It does not have the light purple trim as pictured. The scarf is cut so small it hardly fits around my 10 year olds neck much less an adult. The boot covers are dry rotted and do not go over a shoe.
