Features

  • OUTSTANDING SOUND: This electric bass guitar features 1 split single coil pickup and 1 single pickup, combined with 2 volume and 2 tone control knobs to create richer tones. The headstock adopts a dual adjustment lever and a stabilization system, which can better ensure that the intonation and tone are stable at all times
  • EXQUISITE CRAFTSMANSHIP: The whole body of the electric bass uses the method of three-dimensional cutting to achieve the overall lightweight without affecting the resonance tone. The method of four-bolt fixed connection increases the comfort of high-position playing
  • SUPERIOR MATERIAL: This right hand bass guitar consists of a naturally air-dried fretboard, basswood body and maple neck for better durability and better music performance. Made of nickel-plated carbon steel, our string features thicker strings and larger string tension
  • 20-WATT AMPLIFIER: This 20-watt amplifier can produce a more clear sound due to a special mesh design that makes dust difficult to enter the speaker. The amplifier has eight safety corners, which not only be placed more stable but also wear-resistant and non-slip
  • SUITABLE FOR ALL SKILL LEVELS: This 4-string bass guitar is no assembly required and is ready to use right out of the box. It comes with a complete set of accessories for added convenience. This electric bass is a great choice for beginners and experienced musicians of all levels

  • Beginner Guitar is Great so Far!
Size: Full Color: Sunset
I had been shopping for an inexpensive bass guitar to learn on, when I came across the Ktaxon Electric Bass. I ordered one and it was delivered much sooner than promised or expected. I opened the box and found myself amazed at how well this guitar looked and felt. It is well built and was easy to set up (tune). The included speaker is nothing to boast about, but it is for the beginner and works very well for what it is meant for. I am very happy with my purchase and recommend this product to anyone else looking for a low cost beginner base guitar. ... show more

  • Fun guitar!
Size: Full Color: Red
Good material, feels great to play. Has a nice sharp sound to it. It's also not super expensive so I'd recommend to new players and for players who travel as it is decently light for the size, good bass to learn on or play hard.

  • Great instrument with its own identity (Warning on import fees for Panama)
Size: Full Color: Sunset
I am happy with this bass. It is exactly what I expected: the finish is great, the neck is perfectly straight right out of the box, and it has a really solid sound. The only downside was the logistics. Shipping it to Panama ended up costing me more than the bass itself due to import fees. I realized I could have bought a generic 'Fender replica' locally for less money. However, I prefer this bass because it stands on its own. It has a unique headstock design and isn't trying to trick anyone into thinking it’s a big brand name. It feels authentic and I don't have to explain to people that it's a 'copy.' If you are international, check your customs fees, but the instrument itself is fantastic for the price. ... show more

  • Internal wiring was defective on arrival. Pretty good otherwise.
Size: Full Color: Blue
Looked good on the outside. Body felt strong yet lightweight. Strings were a bit thinner than the ones I am used to on another bass and sounds very different, but it plays well with all 3 styles, so the action level is probably calibrated correctly. Wasn't tuned out of the factory, and I'm not sure how well it keeps its tuning just yet. Almost immediately I felt something was amiss when fiddling with the volume and tone knobs. I opened the lid on the back and to my disappointment, the hot wire for the bridge pickup was completely disconnected and unsoldered, which is why I was only getting sound from the neck pickups. Not sure what the defect rate is, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume I got the short end of the stick. These cheap punks are lucky that I'm good with a soldering iron. Also as many other reviewers say, the amp it comes with is junk. Get yourself a proper bass amp from Fender or an audio interface to plug it into your PC. Overall, great value for your money especially if you're only just getting into playing bass, but expect to do some maintenance, get extra gear to support it later, or even re-string it. ... show more

  • Very good sound quality
Size: Full Color: Red
Excellent quality, I was scaptcal at firt. But obe been playing it for a week now and for the price is 100% worthy, super light compared wirh other basses, the case may feel a little cheap, but because we paid cheap also, the amp is small but awesome, perfect for practice or even a small party

  • Great buy! Instrument is solid. Amp is mostly useless.
Size: Full Color: Black
I got this for my son as a starter bass, and it was a good buy. Required minimal setup. Has good tone. Playable right out of the box (after tuning, of course). Looks sharp. I have a Glarry bass, and I strongly suspect that these were made in the same factory. Everything is identical to mine, including the headstock design. It is an excellent value. The only downside to this package is that the amp that comes with it is absolutely not designed to be a bass amp and is relatively useless, so you will need to purchase an actual bass amp. ... show more

  • Nice Surprise!
Size: Full Color: Red
Bought this kit for my 21 year old grandson because he wanted to try and learn to play the bass guitar. I decided to get him a starter bass. After receiving it, I was very pleased with the bass itself. It came very well packaged and had everything in the box that was advertized. He Loves It! The only downside to this kit is the little amplifier that sounds really weak. I plugged the bass into my Fender Rumble Amp and it was like...WOW! It had a wonderful sound effect with a better amp!! So, he's already learned to play a couple songs through YouTube. I think he will get an upgraded amp for Christmas. Overall, it's a great starter bass kit for beginners. ... show more

  • 5 string not in same class as the 4's
Size: Full Color: Natural
I have had good experiences with Glarry/Ktaxon/Irin products in general. Have bought, gifted or helped setup about 9 of them and they all have been very playable requiring only fine tuning on the setup. I am used to the thicker necks that need sanding and some oil and the moderate output from the electronics, but those are acceptable for the price range. The two 5 string basses I have had experience with do not match up to this standard. The pickups are not matched to the string separation so the poles do not align with the strings (B and G strings have especially weak outputs). This can even be seen in their promotional photos, so not an accident. Additionally, I have noticed mis-aligned bridges that were uncentered, in one case enough that the saddles were pulled at an angle and B string was almost off the fretboard near the high end of the neck. Overall, I can say I trust the 4's, beware of the 5's. ... show more
