This bass guitar is great! When I first began playing it, the fretboard had left some black paint on my fingers but that issue went away quickly so if you're concerned about that, don't be lol. Easy to play with and the amp is pretty good. If you're looking for an amp to play at parties however, I would suggest to get a separate one as this amp isn't *super* loud. Loud enough to play with friends in the garage, not loud enough to play at a house party. Overall it's well made and enjoyable to play, I would recommend this to people :)

Very nice if you are a beginner I have been playing double bass and electric bass for about 3 years so this was an upgrade for me. Good for the price but I recommend switching the strings and adjusting the action for best results its built very nice and actually sound surprisingly good the amp it comes with is also surprisingly decent I like it.

This has a great sound and good playability—including the full two octaves of the 24-fret fretboard. I had to set the action a little higher than I’d like to avoid string buzz—but then I like it really low for endurance reasons while chording, so that’s a pretty minor caveat. On the whole, this is an absolutely stellar deal. The quality seems more like what I’d expect from a bass in the $500-$1200 range. It’s not just a starter bass, imo. (It *is* a starter amp: sounds pretty decent and is more than enough for solo practice but not loud enough for a band, as you’d expect from the size.) Fantastic deal. The bass and amp I received are Glarry, but exactly like the pictures and description aside from the branding, so probably just a change in company name or something.

Great Starter Bass! I’m a beginner and It’s been about 4 months since I’ve had this bass. I’ve had to adjust the truss rod and the actions because there was a really bad buzz problem, but I used the Allen keys given to fix that issue. The bass is good at staying in tune and practice amp is a huge assist. For this steal of a deal, you’ll surely be set!

perfect for what I need to do. got it set up through a DAW as well, pretty easy. the amp, well you'll probably want a bigger one later down the line but for recording on the computer this is just what i needed. I am so satisfied with this product.
