    • Surprisingly Warm
Surprised how warm this blanket is. Was doubtful when I unpacked it because it is actually pretty thin and lightweight. Paired with a nice fleece blanket on top it's perfect. My fleece blankets were too warm so the material of this blanket is cooler but still holds heat well. I run pretty hot so it works well for my body temp. If you sweat at night this is a good blanket. The size also fits well. ... show more

    • Comforter Excellent quality!!
So glad I went with this comforter. I was looking at another one $20 cheaper but saw a review where the stitching came apart after a wash. This one's stitching around the outer rim and inside is perfect and looks amazing. Also super soft, smells good and feels amazing right out of the box !! Would definitely buy again and again. ... show more

    • Amazingly soft and comfy!
First, the size is perfect for a split king bed, it is exceptionally soft , warm without being hot, and it of course has some wrinkles out of the box as to be expected, but most smooth out with a few days. I will get a duvet cover, but it is good looking enough alone also. Love this comforter!

    • Light, cozy, thinner- but still fluffy. Well made, warm.
This duvet insert is thinner than traditional down alternatives. It is sufficient enough to give a little fluff (about an inch and a half of thickness) to the bed. It is light weight and pretty warm. My house stays at 69°F and I'm always freezing, but my hubby gets really hot. We have fans on at night as well, I have woken up sweating a few times. He has been sweating almost every night since we purchased the duvet insert. It's very sufficient at keeping you warm, however it might be too much for some one who gets hot at night. It's currently the end of July and the hottest time of the year so it may be the actual air temp/humidity affecting how hot it is. I think it's a great price for what you are getting. It is an average/ better duvet alternative insert. Don't expect huge, fluffy -thick pillow squares, think light weight, sufficient filled squares. The quality is overall made well. It was vacuum packed and sealed very well when I received in. No stitches were torn and I haven't heard any of the stitching popping when tugging on the insert. ... show more

    • Very Good for the Price
I’m writing this review so that people will know this quilt is everything it should be for around $37. This is NOT a plush down comforter. But it is somewhat plush. Plush enough for me. It is a synthetic blanket/comforter that works great as an extra layer in the winter. It would even be good for camping. The fabric is very soft. I got twin size to be sure it will fit in an ordinary washer. Because it’s washable, it does not require a cover. I’m so done with big heavy down comforters with covers. I want washable layers. I’m very happy with this. It does have a smell when you unwrap it, but the smell was completely gone in 24-48 hours. It’s also wrinkled from the packaging but I don’t care. It was $37 and I like it. My cat likes it. In fact, she prefers it to a cushy fleece blanket. A month later…absolutely love this comforter and my cat is emotionally attached to it. ... show more

    • Good medium between flat and fluffy
It took me a while to narrow down my search for a "summer" duvet. I live in Florida and I'm also a hot sleeper, so I shuddered when my wife decided she wanted a duvet. Being used to the big fluffy kind of duvet, I didn't know the option was even available for a less insulated version. Once I realized it, I narrowed my search down and eventually settled on the Maple Down. Literally every brand/option I looked at had reviews saying it was perfect for warm weather, followed by contrasting reviews saying it was too hot. I took a leap of faith with the Maple Down and so far have not been disappointed at all. In fact, I have been kicking this duvet off far less during the night than I did our last run-of-the-mill comforter. It is also a good weight, and while it isn't a weighted blanket, it definitely provides a similar (lessened) effect. Our only regret is getting the King and not the California King, since the King doesn't drape down either side of our bed like we're used to (not MD's fault, the size is as they described). I suggest buying up a size if you like the comforter to cover the sheets when the bed is made. ... show more

    • Excellent down alternative comforter
I have a king size bed and I made the mistake of getting a king size down-alternative comforter. The king size are so huge, cumbersome and you MUST take it to a place that has industrial-sized washers and dryers. So, since I'm the only one sleeping in this huge bed, I decided to try a full size instead: smaller but I can easily handle it, wash it in my machine and dry it my machine. I have slept under this down-alternative for about 3 weeks and found it to be warm (I do use a fleece blanket on top), soft fabric and washes and dries in my machines perfectly! Came out of the dryer like I had just bought it new! You may need a larger size but this is the best down-alternative comforter I have ever owned! And you can't beat the price! ... show more

    • Should have returned it.
Size is exactly what I was looking for. Love the softness too. Attracts pet hair, creates a lot of crazy static electricity and sleeps so hot we don’t even use it. Also, definitely need to use a laundromat to wash and dry properly. Our xl capacity units aren’t big enough.
