  • GRX20Z Perfect
Color: Jewel Blue
The media could not be loaded. Good packaging a box in a box. Perfect condition no scratches or dings. Love the color it changes with the lighting. Sometimes it looks Blue, Purple or Violet. If you're expecting something that sounds like a F' Strat, LP, or an SG forget it. Too me this guitar has a unique stand alone sound. No Fret Sprouts. I did change strings , Oiled and adjusted the neck & set the action to were I like it. (NO FRET BUZZ) Would I recommend this guitar for a 10yr. old beginner.? It may be a little heavy for him/her. Get a guitar the has a Basswood body it's much lighter. Would I use this guitar for playing a gig.? YES. Would I buy another Ibanez.? Definitely ... show more

  • Nicely done.
Color: Blue,White
A quality product. The price is a too good to be true, but it is well worth it. Now I of course had to file the fret ends and sand and polish the neck, change the strings and add a spring to the Stratacaster.

  • Great beginner guitar
Color: Jewel Blue
I've had this guitar for just under a year. It's been a good instrument. I have done a few customizations to mine to make it a bit more, custom pick guard, strap, knobs and such. Pros: Great beginner instrument. Nice weight Decent tone Well made Stays in tune. Cons: Strings are horrible, but that's a $10 fix. Will need to be setup and many beginner will need this to be done by a professional. But this is true from any mail order guitar. May as well tell the setup tech to replace the strings while you are there. I had a small grounding issues that caused a small buzz from the pickups. But that's fixed now Over all great instrument, get new strings right away ... show more

  • Excellent value
Color: Jewel Blue
What an absolutely gorgeous guitar. It’s brighter and more vivid than I had ever imagined it could be. Right out of the box, this sucker pops! With a blue that you seems like you could dip your fingers into it. And here’s the thing: it rocks! I can only speak for my particular guitar, but it had new strings and required minimal setup, which is quite a bit different than many guitars you can buy on Amazon regardless of price. The tone was so rich and velvety. I just played the Top Gun theme and it sounded like almond butter tastes. Ibanez really knocked this out of the park. If you’re a beginner, get this guitar. If you’re an intermediate or any kind of more experienced guitar player, I’d recommend it to you, too. You’re getting a really excellent value for your money, and you could easily do upgrades, or just keep it stock for something to knock around on. Bottom line, it’s worth the price. In fact, it’s a steal. ... show more

  • Nice little guitar!
Color: Blue,White
Jewel blue was much darker than the picture, but thats fine. Plays well and not a blimish of any kind. Very satisfied and as advertised. I have had several Ibanez guitars and for the price its a great buy.

  • Ibanez GRX 20
Color: Jewel Blue
This guitar is simply wonderful. The seller even professionally sets up the guitar before it leaves the store.. which is great but, for some reason. I can't get this guitar to tune to open g tuning properly. I have not taken it down to my guitar tech yet but not really a huge issue.. the sound is great right out of the box. I've recorded dozens of times with it now and it records very well too. I did replace the factory pick ups with some EMG humbuckers though and some Ernie Ball regular slinky strings. All and all, great product and quality that one would expect from Ibanez. I would recommend this guitar to guitarists of all skill levels and personally, I think it looks just great in jewel blue ... ... show more

  • Depends...
The GRX20 guitars are decent. Sound more like a strat than a shred style guitar. Its not Floyd so the tremolo is gonna throw your guitar out of tune in 5 seconds. It's fine if your not into dive bombs. Bottom line is that it is a rock guitar....Nothing more nothing less. Not that good for shredding metal. (Atleast the pickups) You could throw some EMG's in here sure, but its not worth it. It's a great play-around or starter guitar. The GiO series are pretty good. The higher one's are atleast. This is more for a starter or a "Mess-around guitar" ... show more
