Many of these reviewers were not reviewing this particular chair. It does not rock, swivel, hug the wall, have a hand grip to recline, or require you to use your legs to decline. It is an electric recliner and lift chair. It has endless recline options - just stop the chair when it’s where you like it. Assembly was easy once we figured out where the armrests were and how to get them zipped on. That’s the only con I can see so far. It looks very nice and seems to be good quality - sturdy and easy maintenance. The armrests are lower than most recliners, but are comfy and that’s not a problem. It is a smaller profile chair, for sure, but the measurements are very accurate. I’m 5’3” and it’s plenty high and long for me. I’m also quite wide through the hips and I fit fine on the seat - not any free space on the seat, which my cat is not happy about, but plenty of room for me. As with any new chair, it will need some getting used to, but it’s pretty comfy now and I just got it today. For the very good price, it’s definitely a keeper. ... show more

I like the size and firmness - very firm, (great for your back, I hope that holds up over the years), very easy to assemble. I wish it could have more leg raising options vs just the three settings, but I like it. The fabric is great, soft to the touch and color is beautiful. You also need to push the leg rest down with your legs, so this may not work for an elderly person. I just purchased so cannot say how long it will last. Color in the first pic is actually the true color, which I really like, I purchased the pale sky. For the money - it's a great fit. Ships in two boxes and I thank the guy who mentioned the arm rest are tucked in the bottom of the chair. Open box carefully, so you don't cut the chair. I had some initial problems with the delivery but the company responded immediately. I am still having trouble lining up the zippers for the arm rests. I was hesitant to buy this chair without sitting in it. However I am so glad I did, this chair is very comfortable, and is exactly what I needed. I received both boxes the same day, there was no damage package was packed right. The chair is a very reasonable price it’s not a 1,000 dollar lazy boy, but I got to tell ya it’s very comfortable. The chair is perfect for my small house. It is pretty and very comfortable. The only thing that bothers me about it is that when I recline and bring it back to sitting position, the very back of the armrests wrinkle up. I'm able to straighten it out but I don't think that part of the design is good. I will be keeping it as it's too much work to return it and I'm the only one it bothers :-) ... show more

The chair came quickly and was not damaged so that's a plus. The chair looks nice I'll give it that. I was so disappointed when I sat in it. Not soft and comfortable as it looks. The only thing soft about it is the 2 arm rest cushions. I was hoping to sink into the chair but no luck. It's hard. I have a zero-gravity lounge chair that has a soft topper cushion and I place that on top of the chair which makes it bearable to sit in. I really don't want to have to take the cushion on and off in order to make it comfortable it looks ridiculous in the room. Maybe with time, the chair will soften up. My husband warned me about buying a chair online and now I'm extremely sorry I did. I would like Amazon to take it back and refund me. UPDATE It was too expensive to mail back the chair. After a few emails with the company, they were kind enough to issue a partial refund for the chair. I will be changing my stars to 4. ... show more

Our lift chair arrived quickly after order. It was an easy setup but we had problems with the function. We reached out to customer Service and Cherie returned our email quickly. She did some troubleshooting and when it didn’t rectify the problem, she quickly mailed out a replacement part. This took approx 1.5 weeks start to finish.
