Seems to be well tuned for from at least the middle of the USA 2M band up to at least the NOAA band for VHF. 70cm and GMRS are ok too I suppose, but the radiation pattern this wavelength antenna provides for UHF is more suited for flat land. I’ve got this little antenna mag mounted to the roof of my Tacoma - I’ve driven it through bushes and low hanging trees for years and it’s flexible enough to take a beating. Great sensitivity on 144.390

    • Too short for 146, not adjustable.
This antenna is not adjustable and not long enough to tune 2m on my vehicle. If it was a bit longer I could have trimmed it down at least. Swr was over 5:1 so not usable. Swapped to a longer (unmatched, like this one) antenna and tuned down to 1.2:1 no problem.

HYS TC-HC152V Amateur Antenna 2-Meter ham Band VHF 136-174Mhz NMO Antenna. Amateur Frequencies for 2m are 144-148MHz and this antenna is resonant at 130MHz which means the antenna is too long but without the ability to shorten the length the SWR is way too high for Amateur Radio

    • Packaging lacking, slighly bent when recieved, but funtions as expected.
This antenna does what its designed for very well. Signal reports from near and far have been loud and clear. Could be made a little better, durability may suffer in long run. For the money good value.

    • Decent for the price
Decent little antennas for the price, they tune up pretty high, I use this antenna on my Polaris rzr for the 2m ham band and also up into the 150mhz for private land mobile with low power. Works good!
