  • Great mouse
Color: Black Size: Wired Style: Pulsefire Haste 2
If you are looking for a good FPS mouse and don't mind it being wired, this mouse is great. Very low sensor latency, 8k polling rate and good build quality for the price. My only gripe with this mouse is the mouse wheel is not the best and has had an issue since the original haste where your mouse wheel will start jumping in the opposite direction that you are scrolling. The scroll encoder does not appear to be shield very well, so any little dirt, cat or dog hair will get in and cause this problem (happened on both of mine, I have a cat). ... show more

  • My favorite wireless mouse so far
Color: White Size: Wireless Style: Pulsefire Haste 2
My favorite wireless mouse so far. I am looking for a wireless mouse that I can use for both work (Mac) and play (Windows). I use Logitech M720 previously for work. It is a very good mouse but sometimes I do feel it is on the heavier side. I do have a Logitech 502 wired mouse which is very precise but too heavy. Several other gaming mouses I have are all wired ones which can be inconvenient sometimes. Recently I decided to get a wireless gaming mouse which is easy to switch from Mac to Windows. I have tried Razor Orochi V2, which is small to my liking and my wrist hurts after several hours’ use. I have also considered Razor Viper Pro, Logitech GPW, etc. But those are expensive and I am not a serious gamer. Thus after some research, I decided to try this one. HyperX Haste2 feels very good in hand. It is very light but at the same time, you can feel the control and precision especially with the grip tape. On Mac, I do feel that 2.4G connection is better than Bluetooth connection. Bluetooth on Mac has some lags/latencies which is not desirable. Somehow the Bluetooth is better on my Windows laptop but I still prefer 2.4G connection on Windows. The battery is surprisingly good at the moment but needs to look at battery performance again later in several months. Personally I like everything about this mouse except that the software. On Mac, no software is available but you can still use the mouse (with limited features). Overall it is a very good mouse and my current favorite wireless gaming mouse. I do think the software can be improved and also somehow the Bluetooth on Mac is not good. ... show more

  • It developed a scroll wheel problem
Color: Black Size: Wired Style: Pulsefire Haste 2
Needed to retire my pulsefire haste (1) and so far a couple hours of use the pulsefire haste 2 is very good. It doesnt have the right click softness like my original haste did and both left and right click feel good. They have a bit more travel and actuation force which i like. I like that i can use 8khz and even adjust the liftoff distance in the software. The mouse feels light, doesnt creak and feels strong, buttons feel good and input latency is very low. The one thing i didnt like but isn't a big deal is the left and right click buttons wrap around the front of the scroll wheel unlike the original pulsefire haste. In competitive games where i go for a quick downwards scroll i accidently hit left click sometimes. Just have to get used to it. EDIT: second day in i boot up my PC and the mouse isn't working. Scroll wheel light is flashing. Unplug it and plug it back in and it works for 3 seconds then dies again. Reboot pc, still happening. Switch from 8khz back to 1khz didn't change anything. I then switch USB ports and it starts working again fine. My original pulsefire haste works in any USB port. It seems the mouse has connectivity issues and this is the wired version... Edit 2: not even a month later and the scroll wheel is now messed up. When i scroll up, it scrolls down all the time. ... show more

  • I use it every day
Color: Black Size: Wireless Style: Pulsefire Haste 2
After the amount of time since I purchased it, I’ve decided to review it in a short manner. The good: -Comes with grip tape for the top and sliders for the bottom. -True wireless and the dongle for the wireless plugin can be used to charge the mouse -software was easy to download and use The bad: -the ergonomic of it just doesn’t have the same comfort level as other gaming mice. In the end, I wish it had a wireless pad to charge or supported wireless charging. But for the price and functionality of being wireless; it’s great. In fact I noticed no input lag and have had a better gaming experience without a wire tethered to my mouse. ... show more

  • HyperX - Great shape, no more holes, but currently with a bad firmware and bad motion glitch
Color: White Size: Wireless Style: Pulsefire Haste 2
The pulsefire haste 2 brings forth everything that the original haste had, but improves on it: +same great shape +no more holes +lighter weight +updated modern specs And while all the above are great changes, this mouse does not come without caveats: -clicks are extremely loud and tactile (this is subjective, and is preferential based on the user) -the current firmware (as of 5/9/23) causes the mouse to randomly go through DPI deviation where the mouse lowers the dpi mid-way through while holding the left mouse button for some odd reason, causing inconsistent mouse movements even with an updated mouse sensor. As a result of the last point, the mouse would not be usable for its intended purpose (competitive FPS). I unfortunately had to return the mouse for that reason, and will have to wait until HP (who now owns HyperX) releases a firmware fix. ... show more

  • Feels good
Color: Black Size: Wireless Style: Pulsefire Haste 2
I had the first model of this mouse for 5 years I believe and never had a problem with it gaming with it just about every day. Only reason I decided to buy another was because I accidentally spilled a drink on the old one. I have gotten this mouse now and it’s the first mouse that I’ve gotten that is wireless and it was easy to set up and feels great the grips are perfect! ... show more

  • Heavier than pulsefire 1, still a great mouse.
Color: Black Size: Wireless Style: Pulsefire Haste 2
My pulsefire 1 started not taking a charge after a year of use. Went with the 2. I honestly miss the holes and how light the original was, hence the 4 stars, but it's still a great mouse for the money,
