My poor Astro a50s are actually 11 years old and dying. It was time to move on. I didn't want to spend a ton of money and I wanted something specific for Xbox and totally wireless. It came down to these or a pair of razers. At first, I didn't think these were that comfy but after giving it a little more time, I realized I could game for hours in these without much issue. Like any headphones, it can get a little warm wearing them for a long time but that should be expected. I love gaming headsets with quick flip up mics to mute. My voice came over very clear even when I spoke softly. The sound quality from each can had me riveted wondering where exactly the footsteps were coming from. This has saved me more than a few times. I like how you can change the balance of game audio to voice audio. It's really easy with just a couple of volume wheels. The headset has a lot of plastic so it's very light. This is not necessarily a bad thing. Wearing a heavy headset for hours can give me a headache so I welcome the light weight. Even with all the plastic, it still feels sturdy. These are my first pair of gaming headsets and for the most part, they work great! Love that the mic detaches for convenience and I can wear it for hours without discomfort. I've heard from others that my mic audio is crystal clear. Also does a decent job of insulating outside noise. Unfortunately, the plastic that holds the ear pieces right where you can adjust them has started cracking on me after about a year of use now. I did have a habit of wearing them over a beanie during winter months so that may have contributed to them cracking. Just a note to look out for! ... show more

These headphone are amazing. The sound quality is far to none you can easily change from game to voice chat with a click of a button. I like that it pairs to the xbox instead of having a big bulky device clicked into the controller. The volume is easy to adjust. The sound quality and details you can hear is insane i play COD and you can acculy hear the foot prints or the mice running around, Your able to lover the game back round voice to have more chat volume vice vera. I have a $250 pair of wireless headphone and the will stay in the drawer cause these are my new favorite go to headphones.. Fits just right on the ears and is easily adjustable to fit your head. Sound goes through clear on mic and works fine. Connecting to the Xbox is super simple and after the first time it automatically connects every time it gets turned on.

This replaced a much older, wired HyperX headset that my boyfriend claims to have since at least 2016- he’s keeping those for backup in case he forgets to charge these or something. Anyways, HyperX is his favorite brand but he’d never owned a wireless headset before. I work 16 hour shifts back to back to be able to be off the rest of the week so weekends is when he goes nuts gaming. He’s definitely had some 12+ hour game days with no break to charge and he’s not had anything to complain about for the last few months. He loves the comfort, the quality of sound, and the fact I have to physically get his attention if i need/want anything because this headset does what it’s supposed to do and cancels out ALL noise and nagging outside the game. He loves being able to easily mute the mic if needed. As soon as he’s done gaming him or i will put it on the charger immediately so i’m not sure exactly how long one full charge will last- but i do know it’s good for at least 12+ hours. The headphones did look like new, so they did a good job repairing them to that level, but just a couple days ago, one day after the return window closed, I started noticing some static and sound going in and out.
