  • Say goodbye to wires without compromising quality! CloudX is a beast for Xbox lovers!
Size: Wireless Style: CloudX Flight
This headset is definitely one of a kind. A true gem that is dedicated to the Xbox experience. I absolutely love it, although it comes with inherent tradeoffs. PROS: -Sound is extremely immersive and outstanding quality. -Fully wireless headsets for Xbox chat is a rare thing to find of this quality. No more mic wires! -The connectivity built into this headset specifically for Xbox feels sophisticated, with no discernable lag. -Amazing comfort. Can where for a few hours without noticing, being lost in the soundscape. -The buttons work as expected. Very easy to turn mic on a off. Has a clear voice connection. -Maximum volume is just right, with high volume sound effects coming in clear. Pop/crackle-free. -HyperX novelty, being one of the most sophisticated Xbox licenced headsets on the market. -Good signal strength as far as distance clarity and usability. -Windows Sonic for Headphones greatly demonstrates the speaker quality. Prepped and ready to rock! -There is likely forward compatibility with the next gen of Xbox. CONS: -There is no analog 3.5 mm jack for audio/mic, limiting its usability to Xbox and Windows 10 through its USB wireless receiver or USB cable only. -The battery has no visual or audio gauge. You have no clue how much battery is left. It shows as plugged in on Xbox but the battery bar is default blank. The headset in itself does not announce volume levels, unlike other brands. -The button interface supplants the on-screen interface to toggle chat/game volume levels. -HyperX has provided new firmware for their headsets in the past, and will hopefully do that for CloudX!!!! -Same goes to you Microsoft driver engineers!!!! Overall: If you are looking for a care-free headset that is sophisticated and designed to enhance the Xbox experience, this headset is a joy to own and use. It has a novel feel and look like a collectors item (it combines all the features and quality of all HyperX Xbox headsets minus analog). I needed a headset that was going to be dedicated to my Xbox, and rarely can you get a truly compatible product of this caliber outside of Microsoft. It is designed with a focus on mobility and the sound quality/synchrony and feel of the headset seems beefed up for that purpose. I gave it '5 stars' because the cons are only cons if you are expecting a use-for-anything headset, as Xbox puts a hefty price on their high-quality patented technology. This 'compatibility barrier' that the CloudX overcomes is the product of the difference quality standards between PS4 and Xbox! I use more business-professional headphones for non-Xbox purposes. It doesn't take long to charge and the battery life lasts so long, the lacking battery gauge barely crosses my mind because using them is so fun. I let batteries run out anyway to maintain their lifespan. Cannot go wrong with these if you love Xbox! ... show more

  • Perfect Wireless Headset for Xbox One Perfect Wireless Headset for Xbox One
Size: Wireless Style: CloudX Flight
Hyper X has been my number one trusted headset brand for years because they sound great, they're made well, and most of all, they're always the most comfortable headset I use. And trust me, I've been through A LOT, trying to find the best one. HyperX CloudX Flight is no exception. This is the perfect wireless headset for Xbox One. Immediately, I was impressed with how easy it was to set up, how comfortable they were, and how great they sounded. You literally plug a USB wireless adapter into your Xbox and you're good to go! I've been using them almost every day for long gaming sessions and I can't recommend these enough. PROS 1. Super easy to set up. 2. Extremely comfortable (I wear them for extended periods of time with no pressure on the top of my head or ears). 3. Sound great. 4. Long-lasting battery life (never ran out of battery life and I charge every once in a while). 5. Strong wireless signal (I can go in another room or downstairs away from my Xbox and still hear everything perfectly). 6. Super customizable and durable (removable mic and replaceable ear cups. I already swapped out the comfortable leather cups for the extra fuzzy cups from my other Hyper X pair just because I like to hear people talking next to me). 7. Great sounding mic (friends complained of mic quality of other mics. But never this headset). 8. Easy to use buttons (to adjust things like overall volume, and favor between voice chat and game volume) 9. The headset Hyper X logo lights up! It's pretty cool if you're into that sort of thing and want to show off a little. But you can also turn it off. 10. WIRELESS! This was my first wireless headset and my favorite one out of the handful that I tried out and instantly fell in love with. CONS 1. Wish there was a battery indicator (but this isn't too much of a negative because I've never ran out of battery while gaming and it's easy to get in the habit of charging every night after you finish playing). Other than that, I can't think of any. If you're thinking about going wireless and are looking for your first wireless headset, then this is the PERFECT one for you! Going wireless feels so awesome after using wired headsets for so many years. For me, with how much I loved my other Hyper X wired headsets, this wireless headset was the perfect upgrade. Love Hyper X. ... show more

  • Best Wireless Headset for Xbox One
Size: Wireless Style: CloudX Flight
Astro A50's are overpriced. Turtle Beach Stealth 700 are literal garbage. Steelseries Arctis 9X have insane connection issues and do not fit larger heads. HyperX CloudX Flight are as close to perfect as I could ask for. They are extremely comfortable, fit all head sizes, have incredible battery life, and the sound quality is great. Mic monitoring on these is immaculate. Unlike other headsets, the mic monitoring does not decrease in volume when you lower game volume. There is a game/chat mix option. The lighting on the side can be left on, set to breathing, or turned off entirely (increase in battery life). Battery has been great so far. Charged them out of the box and have not have to recharge in 6 nights of gaming. Audio has been wonderful. Plenty of punch out of this headset. Seriously, skip the other unreliable BS and don't pay a fortune. HyperX consistently makes great quality, comfortable products at AFFORDABLE prices. Couldn't be happier I got these. ... show more

  • Good but could be better
Size: Wireless Style: CloudX Flight
I bought this to replace my Rig 800LX (they died and Plantronics doesn't own the brand anymore. The new owners are bad st customer service). I wanted something with a party chat mixer, decent battery life, and under 300 grams. This is one of the few that fit the bill. Pros 1. Connects to the Xbox Series X and Windows 10 PC with zero problems. Plug and play, no apps required, it just works. 2. I know some people have had issues with the mixer buttons being funky, but my unit was fine. Both buttons have a click and are easy to use. 3. I love the mic mute light. It's easy to see in you peripheral vision so you know you're muted. 4. Clinical sound quality with slightly emphasized bass. It's a bit jarring when you come from a headset with a heavy bass emphasis but you get used to it. It sounds good. 5. Excellent battery life. The 30 hours is no lie. 6. Reasonably comfortable. I think the headband padding could've been thicker and I purchased some velour pads from HyperX's official website, but I can wear these awhile without problems. 7. Good range. I can walk through every inch of my house without having it cut out. 8. Mic monitoring is nice. Beware, your voice sounds better in the mic monitoring than it does to others. 9. The dongle feels like it's constructed well. No super cheap feel. 10. You can detach the mic. Makes it nice if you just need a headset for listening and not for talking. Neutral 1. The mic quality is just okay. It's clear and hiss free (according to my discord and Xbox friends). However, it removes the bass from your voice and has a compressed element to it. It's clear and highly functional, but it's not great. 2. The green lights are super slick, but they eat battery life. I leave them off. Cons 1. No way to check battery level. Not the biggest worry since the battery life is so good but you gotta plug it in and be proactive with it. 2. No EQ. No mic monitoring volume. If you don't like the sound quality out of the box, there's nothing you can do about it. If you have Dolby for Windows or Xbox ($14.99 and it works on both platforms) you can use that to EQ a bit if you need to. 3. Unlike the Cloud Flight S (PC/PS4 version), this one doesn't have Bluetooth or a headphone jack. That makes me the big sad because I would've loved to have used these on my phone. 4. HyperX seems to update the other Cloud Flight headsets but not this one. Overall, my impression is positive, but not like fan boy levels of positive. I like these headphones for the reasons I described above, but I feel like the Cloud Flight S got all the cool extra features and this was simplified for some reason. It's more expensive than the Flight S and has less features. Still, this is a rock solid Xbox headset and a reasonably good PC headset. Bluetooth like its nearly identical sibling would have made it over the top amazing. ... show more

  • GREAT Xbox mic
Size: Wireless Style: CloudX Flight
I’ve been using this mic for a few days now. It’s my first wireless headset but I have to say it is very nice. Very good quality, so easy to set up as soon as you plug in the dongle it connects. I charged it before I got it and used it for 3 days of gaming. At least 6-7hrs each, this headset has died yet! Definitely 30 hrs of use. You need to turn off the led on the side to get the best battery life. Or at least that’s what it says on the box. The mic works great and the sound is very good. I’m able to hear footsteps and everything so much easier when playing COD. You can disconnect the mic if you don’t want to use it. It also has mic monitoring you turn mic monitoring on by holding the mute button for 3 seconds. The headset has an audible beep for all of its functions. Turning on/off, muting/unmuting, mic monitoring, turning volume up or down. It has the chat/game adjustment on the side which is great. You know if it’s evenly balanced because it also has a distinguishing beep to show when it’s in the middle. The headset is also very comfortable I’ve worn it for hours with no discomfort. I highly recommend this headset. ... show more

  • Ok, these are 100% worth it
Size: Wireless Style: CloudX Flight
I've gone through COUNTLESS headphones. Why? I have a weird obsession with having to try every pair of headphones offered on the market. I've tried Astro a40s with the Mixamp, the Gen 3 A50s, the steelseries arctis 3, razer kraken, razer thresher ultimates, and others. So, what makes these different? They're simple. They work. They sound great. When you purchase these, you'll open up the box, take out the headphones, plug in the usb receiver, and that's it. They'll work. At first, the ear pads are a little stiff. Give them a week or two and they'll soften up. This headset is very light and it really is comfortable. My favorite feature of these? THE MIC MONITORING IS AMAZING. So, if you hold the mic mute button for three seconds, it will turn on the mic monitoring, and the best part about it is that IT DOES NOT CHANGE WITH THE VOLUME. The mic monitoring stays at the same volume regardless of how much game or chat volume you have coming through your headset. It works, and it works flawlessly. The battery is phenomenal. I can play for like a week straight before these bad boys need to charge. I really just can't say enough good things about this headset. The wireless connection is just fine with no noticeable lag and they definitely get loud enough. I'd call this.... the PERFECT wireless headset. ... show more

  • This is the one! My Xbox Series X saga of wireless headsets.
Size: Wireless Style: CloudX Flight
I went through the Arctis 9x, which had terrible connectivity, the Razer Kaira Pro, which sounded good but had intermittent connection issues and poor fitting for my head anyway, and the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2, which I liked but would drop signal altogether for 10-20 seconds at a time. The Arctis 3 was wonderful but wired. I don’t mind gaming wired to the controller on the Series X, but it kind of sucks when watching Videos. Enter the HyperX CloudX Flight, which is the absolute best wireless headset currently available for the Xbox Series X. This is my opinion of course and bears in mind the caveat of being relatively affordable, lightweight and comfortable, good battery provided you turn off the LEDS, and a reliable connection that I’d give the sound quality maybe an 8/10. It’s hard to say. Could be 999/10 since it’s the only one I’ve personally found to hold a reliable connection as it should. It’s possible I have some sort of interference but this one works regardless of that possibility. The cons for this headset for me is having to disable the LEDS to extended the battery life each time you turn it on. Not a big deal for me but is somewhat annoying. The only other major con for me that is usually a deal breaker nowadays (I’m a snob I know) IS THE MICRO USB CABLE FOR CHARGING!!!! WHY?!!! Honestly, kidding aside, I’m willing to live with the micro USB and LEDS under the circumstances. The journey is over. This is the one to get imo, and I’ll end with the mention that I don’t game online on Xbox so I don’t know or care about the mic. For that, I’m sorry but I’ve said what I can say about the HyperX CloudX Flight. ... show more

  • Did I get a different product than everyone else? Did I get a different product than everyone else?
Size: Wireless Style: CloudX Flight
First off, I charge it up to full overnight so it can't be the power. Secondly, unsure if this is connected to it being a possibly faulty device, the products name on my pc seems to be "Headset (Xbox Controller)" unsure why So heres the problem. I plug the USB into my pc so the headset could connect (I have used many headsets so this always is fine) I connect the headset to my discord (both input and output) and it works for a few minutes, then without any prompt, in the middle of gaming, it just? Disconnects the input, so people can't hear me anymore (it's not the mute I have tried muting and unmuting. It's not the mic's plug-in I have tried unplugging and plugging back in AND trying to push it in further) the only way for me to be able to get people to hear me again is by going over to my pc, taking out the USB and plugging it back in in the middle of a game, giving me about 30 seconds of not even being able to hear audio in the game until the headset reconnects, after the headset reconnects they can usually hear me again and I can hear the game again. Doing this around 6 times an hour per gaming session is really irritating and making me a liability in competitive games, and ruining any enjoyment of being able to talk to my long distance friends Be very wary if you buy this to talk on discord on your pc. I have used many HyperX products and all have worked perfectly fine, it must just be this headset in particular. This is not going to keep me from purchasing HyperX products in the future but if this becomes a pattern with the company maybe I'll rethink that statement The input audio quality is fine (better than most previous wireless headsets I've owned) when it's working The output is average, about what you'd expect for the price. The range is pretty far, I can go out into my living room past my kitchen with only a few areas I cut out Noise cancelation was less than would be preffered, discord at least has built in noise cancelation, but still I couldn't so much as chew gum or unzip a jacket without broadcasting it to everyone via the mic ... show more
