These are not sound canceling at all. Not one little itty bitty bit. That's fine. What's awesome is these are the best headphones I've ever had, and I'm super picky about headphones because ASD. They work, exactly, perfectly, for the 7.1 surround. It sounds like you are in the game. You can just HEAR where enemies are. Best of all, works with a normal 3.5 jack splitter. The dongle isn't needed (if your PC has a soundcard that can do surround, which you SHOULD).

+Sound was very clear and true, could use just a little bit more bass. +Some days I would sit in front of the pc for 15-16 hours straight but I never noticed these on my head (very comfortable and light). +Modular and I don't have an audiophile headphones yet so these were very nice to carry around. +Used but looked just like new, so far so good. ~Surround was decent addition, not awesome. - Noise cancellation almost non-existent, as if these were open-backs, fortunately I don't need much nc and these still block noise better than in-ears so I won't give it a one star for nc.

One of the best headsets and headphones i’ve ever used if I’m completely honest. As someone who uses very high quality headphones to listen to music and game, these are prestigious. My only concern is that i had to plug the microphone in about 3 times to get it finally in the right position, but after I was heard on the other end by my friend very clearly.

Picked these headphones up per a friend's recommendation, came from the Logitech G230 (as much as I like the G230 the build quality is somewhat poor). Not very picky on sound quality personally but having used some terrible ones before I've found no reason to tinker with its sound out the gate and the physical controls are convenient when I don't have access to the keyboard. The microphone being detachable also makes it easier to store when I need to take it anywhere.

The media could not be loaded. Hello Hello, This headset has been working great for me over the last few months. I work from home, so I'm wearing them for 8-10 hours a day and have had no problems. The noise cancelling is just the right amount where I can hear louder things outside my office, but not little noises like with my previous headphones. The microphone does need to be fairly close to your face to pick up noise, but that's great because it doesn't pick up any background noise as well. Would recommend!

This is by far the WORST headset i have ever used in my entire existence. I dont know where to begin so i will just make a list. 1. pc using the USB for 7.1 audio is GARBAGE 2. Constant buzzing sound 3. The Headphone 3.5mm jack cable is short as hell 4. When 7.1 audio is enabled it sounds like im in a tin can and the audio is unbearable. Again this is the worst pair of headphones to ever exist worse than turtle beaches AND THAT SAYS ALOT. I trusted the online youtube reviews too much and didnt read the comments apparently alot of people are having the same issue. I turned to HyperX’s reddit to find a fix and all i could find is to only use the 3.5mm and not use the USB extension. Overall feel is cheap as hell and this is definitely NOT worth 100$ waste of money better luck getting Corsair HS50 or the HS70 that was my headset before and i never had an issue. These are garbage
