I originally purchased the Pro version and and wasn’t impressed with the percussion speed. I was surprised how weak it was. So I returned and tried this one. Perfect solution. It’s super light and does the job well. 3 speeds and battery last forever. Perfect travel too.

It's powerful, reasonably quiet considering its strength, and easy to use. There is one button to rule them all. Press and hold the button, and a green light around the handle turns on. Hit the button once, twice, or three times for Levels 1, 2, or 3. One more turns it off. It's also reasonably lightweight. It also has two tips, one of them a broader rubber head, and another one that is a smaller head for getting at knots. Either one works well, and probably covers just about all you'd need for percussion-style massage. Oh, and yes, of course you want to know about how it massages. Fantastic. It's powerful, really powerful, so not everyone's going to like it, but it works deep to unknot muscles. It also lasts up to three hours, so you don't have to keep charging it over and over. I personally love the deeper massage, so within ten seconds, I already was sure that I would want to keep using this. Also, for $127, it seems like a strong value. How did I hear about this? The OT was using it during my session since I have lateral epicondylitis in both elbows. I immediately liked it, and inquired about it. Turns out that he has one he uses at home as well. Definitely recommended.

excellent massage gun for travel as well as home use. I bought a larger version several years ago and the plastic inside started to break. I bought this small size so I could travel with it. It works very well and can use all of the attachments of my older one. I like that it uses the same charger as my Iphone 17 so one less charger to pack. Good quality. Definitely recommend.

Check out purchase date and review date for most of those reviews, and go check the ones that are made 6 months after purchase - You will notice a bunch of customers posting pictures of the part that connects the gun to the massage pad being broken. This is normal wear and tear, happens even if you are extra careful and seems to be a manufacturing issue with this model. Customer support does not replace parts nor offers warranty. While they say on this page that it comes with 1 year warranty, this is what is on their website: "This warranty excludes: Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage Products/accessories are not used in accordance with the user manual Products are misused or modified in any way Products repaired by the user or anyone other than an authorized service representative of Hyperice/Normatec Products that are dropped or damaged due to user error Use of unauthorized non-Hyperice Charger Damage caused by accident, abuse, mishandling, or transport Damage exceeding the cost of the product Failure to provide the dated proof of purchase and serial number on your device Units not used in accordance with Hyperice care instructions Deterioration of the delivered product resulting from abnormal storage and/or safeguarding conditions on the client’s premises Products purchased from an unauthorized retailer. Units taken out of the US" AKA, if you use this for over 6 months it will break and you are out of luck. Much better off buying those $30 knock-offs. Do not recommend this at all and will not purchase Hyperice products ever again.

The Hypervolt Go 2 has become my quick go-to tool for easing sore muscles after workouts or long hours at my desk. It is noticeably lighter and more compact than full-sized percussion guns, which makes it easy to hold and maneuver even when reaching tricky spots like my upper back or calves. The build quality feels solid and the matte finish gives it a premium look. The percussion itself is strong for such a small device. It comes with a couple of attachment heads that pop on and off easily and the motor runs smoothly without any uncomfortable jolts. It is quiet enough that I can use it while watching TV without cranking up the volume, which is a nice change from some of the louder massage guns out there. The trade-offs are mainly in battery life and intensity. The battery charges quickly but it does not last quite as long as larger models, and while the power is impressive for its size it may not go quite deep enough for people who need very intense massage pressure. Even with those minor drawbacks, the Hypervolt Go 2 is a great little device to have on hand. It is easy to toss in a gym bag or suitcase, delivers reliable relief on the spot, and makes post-workout recovery feel less like a chore. A very solid four stars from me.

I absolutely love the hypervolt Go 2! It packs a punch but is also nicely portable. My only critiques are I wish it were Bluetooth and came with a carrying case but those are small potatoes.

This product works great. It really helps my lower back pain when my wife uses it on me. She says it really helps her shoulder pain when I use it on her. As others mention, the battery does seem to drain a bit quickly. I notice it happens most when my wife uses it, so maybe it has to do with focusing the device on smaller areas like shoulders more than the back? Every time I get it back from her it needs a full recharge, but I have never seen her so fully relaxed in our 20 years of marriage, so it must be doing some magic healing. She told her book club ladies all about it, and they each bought one and give it rave reviews. Recently however, I asked one of their husbands at a dinner party how he likes it, and he said he hadn't even used it yet, and his wife is already on her 2nd unit. So maybe there is a quality control issue, not sure. Works great for us though, I just wish my wife wasn't so tired all the time now.
