Hykolity LED 12.8' x 1.38" flush mount brushed nickel finish - 2 pack. The dimensions shown in the product photos are correct. It is 1.38' thick. For the brushed nickel version, the technical dimensions farther down are currently incorrect; they are for a different Hykolity product. I used three lights for my kitchen ceiling. After remodeling the upper cabinets, the two-part corner cabinet doors would extend and hit two existing lights. The existing electrical boxes for the lights are small and congested, and it is not practical to change those boxes. These lights were the perfect solution - easy to install and fit the wire connections into the small boxes. They install with less than 1.5" height drop from the ceiling, so my corner cabinet doors pass well under them. The brushed nickel finish goes well with the stainless steel kitchen appliances and sink fixtures. I like the 3000K light color temperature, but it is easy to change to a whiter color with a switch. The brightness is very good. I have them on a single dimmer switch and usually turn them on with the dimmer lever at about 60 percent brightness. Note: Many reviews here say you can change the brightness with the switch (which is hidden when the cover is installed). That is incorrect; the switch changes the color of the light, not the brightness, although the whiter color settings (4000 and 5000K) may appear to be brighter. The light is bright, so if you want it to be less bright, use a wall dimmer switch compatible with LED lights.

I was replacing single-bulb lights, so this IS brighter however I've decided I like it as it -- and installing a dimmer is always a choice should I decide otherwise (first thing in the morning might be a bit much ... I'll find out!). I love the color choices, letting me pick the hue according to personal preferences as well as location in the house. Installation was easy, instructions were good and the hanging design for wiring install is genius and EXTREMELY useful. Compared to other lights, this might be a tad more, but the features and quality is definitely worth the extra dollar or two. For LED ceiling lights there are only a few styles available (surprisingly so), so finding this one that wasn't gaudy, wasn't a plastic mount (I have brushed nickel throughout the house), and low profile was PERFECT to replace the old style mushroom $5 contractor lights this place came with. Fully recommend these.

These are easy to install if you are a little handy. Others have complained that they have had a light start to blink or dim after the return period passed. While it's true that all products might have some defects this company stands by the product with a 5 year warranty. I had one of the set of two lights start to flicker and dim and contacted the company with the order number and a replacement is on the way. This was 7 months after purchase. It's good when a company stands behind a product and the return request was completed via email in 12 hours.

These lights are fantastic for multiple reasons. 1. Ease of install, these are the easiest lights to wire in due to it's simple but genius design. 2. multiple colour temp choices make sure you get the right light and look for your space. 3. Style, they'll look good anywhere in your home.

These lights are great. I wasn't sure which color temperature I wanted for each room, so these were a fantastic option to let me test the colors. The lights are quite bright and the aesthetic of the light is minimalist (you can also take out the metal ring for a "cleaner" look). My advice: pick the color temperature based on the room's window exposures, space, and paint color. e.g I realized 3,000K lights were terrible in small non-exposed bedrooms because it gave off jail-cell vibes.

These lights are awesome!! My kitchen is super bright now. These lights have a low profile. They look like can lights but bigger. They have a handy hook feature that lets you hang the light so you don't have to hold it while connecting the wires. You can choose 3 level brightness settings which makes these my new favorite lights in the house.
