Let me start off by noting two things. When I think of a product for sensitive skin, it should also be fragrance free. That said, I knew I was taking a risk buying this product because neither the manufacturer nor seller claim it to be fragrance free, and some other reviews mentioned a mild scent. So it's totally on me for ignoring that and buying it anyway. All that said, this is a good aftershave. It moisturizer well and made my face feel better after using it. I recently started using a safety razer and am still getting the hang of getting a good lather so I need something to make my face feel better. But if scents bother your allergies or asthma like they do for me, steer clear. Don't get me wrong: it does smell good. It's just that my body overreacts to silly things, and now I'm paying for it. Again, this goes back to my earlier comment about sensitive skin products being unscented. I fully understand that this product doesn't make that claim, but if you're like me and also make that assumption...well, you know what that say when you assume things. However, that's not why I took off a star for this product. No, it's because of it's container. It's a nice one, looks good, feels solid. I'm just not sure that using glass was the best idea for a product that's typically used in a room with hard floors that people use barefoot. I have used this brand of after shave for many years, mainly because it is reasonably priced, soothing, and has a very mild pleasant scent. I dislike highly scented toiletries and prefer unscented if possible. This, while not unscented, is very subtle and pleasing. It does the job soothing the post shave skin as well. I havent noticed it to be very moisturizing, however. ... show more

This is one of the best aftershaves I've used, and I have fairly sensitive skin. My only issue is with the container itself; the lid comes off in a strange way, and the bottle is fairly hefty with a narrow lip; because of the viscosity of the goop, it is hard to get just the right quantity without making a mess. this is a great product! I will shave 4-5 times a week, and now that winter is upon us.....I'm pulling the Nivea off the shelf after each episode with the blade!
