This product far exceeds my expectations!!!! I was skeptical that it would truly keep a product cold as long as indicated but I was incredibly wrong! When the Hydro Flask arrived my curiosity wanted to test their claims before I really started regularly using it. I filled the Hydro Flask with ice water the day I got it and I kid you not it still had ice on the third day! I was mind blown! The first two pictures I've provided show day one and the final picture looking directly in was taken on day three after consuming about half of the contents as I couldn't resist a few drinks. The Hydro Flask had absolutely zero condensation on the outside during any of those three days! I couldn't believe it! The texture is a powder coating and I think that's great as I don't fear that I'm going to drop it. As you can see from the pictures I provided, the color is vibrant and the blue looks great! The sport cap is a plus, it does not leak, and it makes for very easy use. It's not your typical spout tip either as it's a thick rubber. This might be a good thing for people who typically bite the plastic tip. I will say that the Hydro Flask is more expensive than other water bottles on the market from what I've seen but they are well worth the cost. Hydro Flask is designed and originated from beautiful Bend, Oregon which is where I was born and raised so I feel ashamed I waited so many years to try or buy or one. And although I live in Kansas City now, I love that I can have a little piece of home with me because I'm a sap like that. I can't wait to purchase another Hydro Flask for myself in the growler size. They'd make a great gift as well because who doesn't use a water bottle at some point. Bottom line, you will not be disappointed with purchasing a Hydro Flask! Finally, I am a paid consumer so I did buy this product with my own money. My review is genuine and my own. I really like the actual water bottle but the sports cap is terrible. I can't tell you how many times this has spilled on my bed, on my table, all over my backpack. With the price being what it is I don't think it should be leaking everywhere. I would recommend buying the bottle the comes with the screw on cap if you are really set on buying a hydroflask otherwise there are many other more affordable brands the work almost as well if not the same. If the bottle falls even on a smooth surface it gets dents and scratches fairly easily. Would not recommend this one with the sports cap. ... show more

    • Doesn't insulate as well as older model

I had an older 21oz Hydroflask (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003WU9VKK/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that I loved, but I lost it on the golf course. That thing worked so well and I was bummed to lose it. I bought this new one to replace it, and the difference in the ability to insulate is horrible. With the old model, I could put some tap water and 2 ice cubes in it at night, and still have cold water in the morning. Now, I have to put 5x the ice in just to get somewhat cool water in the morning. It's not just a difference in the sport cap vs the screw-on cap. You can feel the outside of the bottle actually getting cold when you put cold water in. This means the water bottle is doing a terrible job at insulating. Looks like their manufacturing quality has gone down as they've gotten more popular. Very disappointing. ... show more

So disappointed in this water bottle. I purposely purchased this particular water bottle because I heard it keeps everything cold for a long time. I'm shocked and disappointed to find out that the lid leaks. No matter how hard you push down on the mouthpiece water pours out of the center when turned upside down or even on its side. It's irrelevant how long the beverage stays cold because unless it is standing straight up it leaks. ... show more

I dropped this one time and now it can’t sit up by itself. I bought the same type of product from Walmart... it had lasted through a lot of falls... the price of this is ridiculous for the quality. I can’t belive I fell for the hype. If you’re looking for great quality and worth the price go to Walmart and look for the Ozart Trail brand! You can get a 36oz for $10 and it keeps your water just as cold... if not colder. ... show more

Returning this but with faith in the product as I just bought a 24oz version and loveing it with acessories that allow for better management and protection of the device. Returning this after explaining what happened to customer service. This is my go to for drinking water. Our summers are very hot and I’m always drinking ice water. I rarely drink anything else. It does keep the water cold/cool but I also put 5-6 ice cubes in it and then refrigerated cold water. It doesn’t seem to keep it cold as long as some reviewers said, and that’s why I gave it 4 stars. Maybe it’s my warm climate??? I love the sipping spout. I use the spout but not the straw that came with it. I just tip it back and drink! ... show more

    • Don’t waste your money. Not worth the hype!

Hydro flask water bottles are horrible. I purchased this on 9/10/2020 for my daughter for school. She is a 6 th grader. We haven’t even made it until spring and it is already leaking ( from the bottom of the bottle ) not the top around the mouth piece. For this price this water bottle should of at least lasted a year. I will not be purchasing another hydro flask. Don’t waste your money and purchase this product. Money down the drain. Save up for a RTIC or Yeti. ... show more
