    • Terrific Leather Sofa
My wife and I were very nervous about buying such an expensive product sight unseen. Products often turn out to look completely different than pictured on-line, but this sofa turned out to be very much like the photos. The color is described as "ivory", which worried us because it doesn't look ivory in the photos. It was shipped in a big box, and the description on the box called it "eggshell white", but that doesn't accurately describe the color either. The color turned out to be very much like the photos as they were showing on my monitor. I think a better name would be "putty" or "light beige". Whatever the case, the color is beautiful, and was exactly what we had hoped for. My advice would be to request a leather swatch from Hydeline before ordering, because the swatch is the exact color. Hydeline's customer service sent us the swatch zippy quick before we ordered. Workmanship on the sofa is excellent. The tufting is done with precision, all the seams are tight, and the nail head trim is perfectly lined up. The outside surfaces (back and sides) are nicely finished and matched, which we were grateful for because we have the sofa in an open room rather than against a wall. The leather has a smooth, satin finish, and is very supple. The cushions and seat back are firm but not hard. The firmness gives the body great support, but there is also a surface softness or padding that makes it quite comfortable. The supple feel of the leather also adds to the comfort. I would say that the size of the sofa is about medium as sofas go, but it seats three comfortably. Our only complaint is that the shipping was a bit frustrating. It shipped fast to the shippers warehouse in our delivery region, but then it sat in the warehouse for about three weeks before it was delivered. That caused it to be delivered well outside of the latest date in the delivery window that was given by Amazon on our order. On the upside, the men who delivered it were efficient and professional. The sofa was safely packaged in a huge cardboard box with padding inside, and the box and padding were removed and taken away by the delivery men. The sofa was moved into place by the delivery men. And the sofa turned out to be well worth the wait. It is looks fabulous! ... show more

The leather is good quality. It arrived without damage. Setup as fast by the delivery agent. The color does not match what is shown online at all. It is much lighter than shown online. Compare for yourself. I am a bit disappointed with the color and am deciding if it is a keep or not. The brown is a far off from what was expected. It is a firm sofa. Seems well Made.
