Much nicer than lots of other versions and they actually have handy features. They are a bit long but the way they buckle makes it so that the extra length doesn’t cause a problem. They also seem fairly light for what they provide. I would buy another pair if they ever had to be used to for their intended purpose of stopping a chain (knock on wood it never happens) but these are easy enough to put on and wear that if it ever does happen I will be wearing them.

These Husqvarna chainsaw chaps are the best that I have ever used. It is so obvious that they are made from high quality materials and the workmanship is first class. I have used chaps from several different manufacturers over the years and these are by far my favorites. I wear a size 36x32 pants and these chaps are a good fit. I like the way they wrap around and protect the calves as well as the fronts of your legs. They have a handy pocket on the front that works great for holding a couple of wedges or saw wrenches. Not only functional but also very good looking chaps.

These are really good looking which matters if you have people around but more important, they are very durable feeling and have had many reviewers test them with great success. They're not bullet proof, none of these chaps are from any of the brands but they can stop most cuts from happening to begin or at least significantly reduce injuries to your legs. If you are heavy set or skinny, I think 95% of people can easily fit in these without any issue.

I have used chainsaws for years but recently bought a 24in bar powerful professional saw as I need to cut up over 35 20in diameter trees. I have never worn any protection on my legs when using a chainsaw but my manager at work told me I should so I bought these. Only 2 days later I stepped back while pulling out the saw from a cut and my foot sank in boggy ground. I was so distracted watching my boot sink I didn't see the saw turn and the spinning chain contacted my left knee. I sustained no injury although I ripped a slot in my new chaps. Now I won't use a chainsaw until I am wearing them. I have always worn a hard hat, earmuffs and safety glasses, but these chaps are well worth the money and my lack of injury is due to wearing these protective chaps. I would recommend them to others.
