I had a toilet issue. Thinking I was suddenly an plummer (I SO am not!), I removed the tank lid to take a look and promptly dropped it and broke it. Not good. Crying didn’t help so I called my plummer who fixed the toilet. He noticed the broken lid on the floor and his last words to me were, “good luck finding another lid.” Race to Amazon. I found a couple that were used (no thanks) and then found this new one. Specs were right. Price was great. I clicked the order button. It said it would take a week or so to get here and said arrival July 8. It came two days early! Yay! Being that I was skeptical about fit, I saved the broken one in case I needed to super glue it back together! I didn’t. My brand new lid fit PERFECT and I could not be happier. It was very well packed to avoid breaking in transit. When I gently removed it from the box, I cradled it like a newborn infant. Replacement lid for my toilet. The lid broke a couple years ago when a mermaid fell off the wall and hit it. True story. Anyways, I finally got tired of looking at it and ordered one since they don't carry replacements in the stores. It fits just like it should and looks nice too. Just look for the number on the inside of the lid if you need to replace yours. Oh, and beware of hanging any mermaids on the wall. :0) ... show more

The model number matched exactly to the previous one that had brown, yet it did not fit exactly the same, it was slightly too large but better than having an empty space. Still don’t know why it didn’t fit exactly as the model numbers matched exactly from the original.

Last Sunday night at around 2:00 am, there was a mighty crash. Somehow, the cat managed to knock a cabinet off the wall. It came down and smashed the toilet lid. I was beside myself as the toilet is less than one year old. I duct taped it together and went back to bed. The next morning I called American Standard and they referred me to Amazon after providing me with the details I needed to order a replacement. I ordered the lid on Monday, May 12th and it arrived today, Wednesday May 14th. The packaging was amazing and the lid arrived safely. Great price, great customer service and lightening fast shipping. I could not be more pleased. The cabinet has been reinforced so it cannot be knocked down again. The new lid is on the toilet. The cat has apologized (sort of). Life is good. :-) ... show more
