You would think that ceiling fan remotes all work mostly the same. Turn light on/off, turn fan on/off, adjust fan speed, dim the light. These are not unreasonable expectations, but many ceiling fan remote controls do not come close to meeting those expectations. This one does, in spades. After having tried multiple remotes with a variety of brands of ceiling fans, this is the one I keep coming back to for reliability, strength of signal, and simplicity of features. I used this as a replacement for a Hunter Dempsey fan/light fixture transmitter. Extremely fast delivery. From time I hit “buy now” to working fan was less than 12 hours. Install was easy and the remote is an exact match excluding the Hunter brand logo. If you are having issues with your Hunter fan/light cutting off by itself after a couple minutes, this should solve the problem. It solved mine. Would definitely buy again. SIDE NOTE-It does make the slightest single click noise when turning on with the remote. ... show more

Glad to find a replacement for a broken controller. Plus, it was reasonably priced. I also replaced another fan that could not be fixed; however, could not find one with a remote...so, I ordered another one. Much less expensive than having my electrician wire a wall switch.
