Product is very strong and steady. It's very simple to put together. The height is pretty good, once you put a thick mattress on it gives a pretty good height. To me the 18 inch is a good enough height with a thick mattress, but if you need more height you can go a little taller. Overall it's perfect for me.

Bought this to carry about 500 lbs: a 300+ pound latex mattress and a 165 lbs 5’11 male. We assembled it correctly and did not abuse it. It started creaking after a few months. The creaking got worse as time went on. Finally we removed the mattress and disassembled the frame to find the damage you see in the attached photos. I guess we’ll keep using it but it could be a safety hazard down the line. Overall the construction seems quite solid but the side rail seems to be a key fail point. EDIT: I’m changing this to a four-star review. I was able to bend back the tab with hammer and vice grips. The stud still wouldn’t thread, so I hit the head with the hammer repeatedly and started tightening with the Allen wrench. The stud didn’t go all the way in, but it did screw in quite a bit. I also retightened all the other studs. The bed is more structurally sound now and is no longer creaking. Again, I can’t vouch for the ability of this frame to handle more than 500 lbs, but I’m pretty satisfied about what I got for the price. Also the leaf or tab that bent is from the top (or bottom) rail, not the side rail as I wrote originally.

Bought this frame as a space saving option and didn’t expect much. Mostly just bought it to keep the mattress off the floor. We have had it about 6 months and have been pleasantly surprised. It is very sturdy and doesn’t wobble or shift at all. We have another cheap metal bed frame that we keep having to tighten the screws - not this one! Even with a toddler climbing and roughhousing on it, it has stayed sturdy and tight. No loose screws or squeaking. It was also easy to put together; I did it by myself in about 20 minutes.

Pieces were damaged upon arrival. They are on the inside, so it doesn’t really matter but definitely shouldn’t look this way being brand new. Also, the legs are not the same length. The middle is almost two inches taller than the top and bottom on the bed.. not sure if there was an error when packaging or if this is how it’s supposed to be.. also, some of the screws just won’t tighten so the bed is very wobbly. It doesn’t make much noise but does not seem sturdy. I’m mad I took my original bed frame down for this.. I’m not looking forward to the return of this bed frame.. on the plus side, it was easy to assemble and ot arrived before schedule. **update! Customer service reached out and gave me the proper legs for the bed to be the correct height. It is still a bit wobbly but it’s good and doesn’t make a lot of noise.
