We had a wooden bed frame with a large headboard and footboard and needed to downsize. This bed frame was the perfect solution for us. The frame was easy to assemble (I did it by myself), is super-strong, and is silent. I don't know if I just got lucky, because a few people said holes didn't line up during assembly. Not mine! Everything fit and went together smoothly. The directions were simple, the parts were easily identified, and it only took about 30 minutes to put it together, if that (I wasn't rushing through the job). With no box spring needed, the mattress just lays on the frame and doesn't make any noise. When I lay down to sleep or when I get up out of bed, there is not a sound. It is amazing. I have not heard any squeaking, creaking, or settling of the frame; it is strong and silent. My wife doesn't hear me when I get up in the middle of the night, which is really nice. Also, because it has a 16 inch clearance under the frame, there is a ton of storage room under the bed. Most boxes, plastic crates, and storage bags easily fit underneath. We have all kinds of storage room now, which is why we opted for a platform bed frame. I haven't stubbed my toe on the frame (yet), but the legs at the foot of the bed are rounded. They look nice and I don't think it would (will) hurt that bad if (when) I accidentally come in contact with one of them. I am really happy with this product. So, yeah, I recommend this bed frame. And no, I didn't get anything for writing this review. No one paid me anything (I don't have that kind of luck); I just wanted to put in my two cents about this great platform bed frame. ... show more

Read this before buying!!!!!! We did not open any of the packaging because the bags that store the nuts and bolts was already ripped open and all the hardware (or what was left of it) was loose throughout the box. (See photos) so we had to run to hardware store and pay additional for things that should’ve been included. Then, once we got the frame assembled, we realized the head of the bed was shorter (in width) than the foot of the bed. The middle horizontal rods (all same specs) that keep up the mattress wouldn’t reach the brackets near the foot of the bed but were too long and overlapped each other at the head of the bed. This is a full 1.5 inch difference. So, it’s almost as though the seller grabbed parts for a full and queen, didn’t confirm if it was correct parts, and sent it. When we tried to return, we learned that we would have repackage, and pay to ship back (which is extremely heavy and tedious) so the seller is sending us additional middle rods. Hopefully we can rig something for support with those additional rods. If not, it’s going in the trash and we’re taking the loss. Until then, we’re sleeping on the floor. Overall, with the additional money we spent to buy the missing hardware, and the time wasted assembling parts not compatible for each other, SERIOUSLY spend your money somewhere else. ... show more

This is a great product. Easy to assemble and storage galore. The height was perfect. One thing to note is that it is a toe kicker so I’m going to wrap the legs with a wrap. The mattress does shift but I think Velcro may work. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
