I bought 2 of these chairs for my sunporch, to use as reading chairs or just sitting in the sun. They are medium in size, fits both my husband and me, we are medium sized people. They are firm to sit in, which I like, but they are not sink in kind of chairs. The push back to raise the foot rest is also firm, an elderly person probably would have trouble, but it’s good for us. What I was really impressed with, is the fabric covering. Not only does the fabric feel as though it will last awhile, the technique that the sewing shows, the stripes lining up, the chairs look pretty much identical, really pleasantly surprised me. I absolutely love the way these chairs look and feel! They are sturdy, cute and recline! You just push back and it reclines easily. The chair isn't super soft but not really firm either. Looks pretty alone, but that’s where it ends. Very firm and not comfy at all. Quite small. Even though I measured in advance, the height of the back makes you think you should be getting a more substantial chair. Fortunately, it’s going in a corner of my bedroom and not the living room. It would look ridiculous there. It looks funny in my bedroom, but it would be too much of a pain to take apart and send back. It could be ok size wise in a nursery but, again, it is not comfortable in any way. Too bad. I had high hopes for this and spent awhile looking.😞 ... show more

I purchased these chairs after reading other reviews on Amazon and asking additional questions. The chairs arrived in separate large boxes that were packed very well. The chairs were very easy to put together even without the instructions. I like the thick cushion for the seat, I only wish that I could flip it over as time goes by, but it is not that big of an issue. The seat height is 20 inches from the floor, and I mention this because as a 5'2" person, my feet do not touch the floor when seated all the way back. After several days I have noticed that his is no longer an issue, as I finally found a position that works for me. Overall, the chairs are very nice and comfortable. It takes a degree of strength to recline, but I think as time goes on with more usage that too will resolve itself. I had to put some towels on the arm rest and head rest as I did not see if the material was sprayed with Scotch Guard. Overall, I would recommend these chairs, as they give my post surgical back support. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. They’re a good value for the price. The plaid is subtle so it doesn’t overpower the room. Easy to assemble. In video couch, loveseat, pillars, chairs, drapes, rug, floor lamp, dining room light, and wall clock are all Amazon.
