I was concerned she wouldn't be strong enough move the chair in and out of the reclining position, but it's been perfect for her. Shipping was fast, packaging was secure, and assembly is easy. For those who care: this genuine leather recliner is made in China. It is easy to assemble once you get everything out of the box. The chair comes with very easy-to-follow assembly instructions. It took me less than 5 minutes to assemble the chair. Although I ordered this recliner through Amazon, it comes from Wayfair. The chair was shipped to me by FedEx. Although the recliner arrived 2 days early, the box was placed upside down in front of my home, and rain hit the box. (I wasn't home for the delivery - if the chair had arrived on Friday or Saturday, the shipment would not have been exposed to the weather for 6 hours.) Fortunately, most of the chair escaped rain due to the plastic wrapping. But because the box was upside down, there was some rain exposure because the box had some holes created by the shipping straps. That's the reason for the loss of one star in this review. Once the recliner was assembled and placed, I tried it out. I love the color (Saddle) and the nice riveting on the leather. The recliner is very comfortable. It reclines easily, and you can almost lie flat. The padding is very good (as it's still new). I'll edit this post after the recliner has "broken in". These are a lovely addition to my front room. They came earlier than expected and were well packaged. They are replacing a 20 something recliner. The colors match, one isn't darker or lighter than the other. The size is just right for us but would be a bit tight for a larger person. They recline pretty flat, and they are not power, nor do they have a lever on the side for the vacuum cord to get tangled in. The leather is so smooth with no imperfections. I have been shopping for a recliner for a year or so and came upon these and I was pleased with the price and the reviews. They aren't too very heavy to move around.
