    • Width not for wide kayaks
The cart is very light and appears well made but buyers should be aware that this cart is not suitable for wide kayaks, like fishing kayaks. Contact points on which the kayak sit are only 13 inches apart and that's the wider of the two supports. My kayak is 34 inches wide and the bottom is flat so it's hard to keep the kayak centered on the cart. Plus, the kayak is made of hard plastic so it slides sideways easily. The straps provided don't have a ratchet-based tightening mechanism so they are not useful for preventing the kayak from sliding off to one side. This usually results in the cart twisting off track and you'd have to stop and re-center the cart. Although the cart is not useful for transporting my kayak, I'm keeping it because the problem is not the manufacturer's fault. ... show more

    • Better than trying to carry it
Only has one strap to secure kayak to the cart. Once you add your own strap, it actually works. Only instructions are for assembling the cart, not securing kayak/canoe/SUP, to the cart. Maybe that one strap is supposed to wrap around twice to actually secure your craft to it, but there's no instructions indicating how to use. ... show more

This Dolly works great, it is foldable and the bulky wheels come off and on easily with the pull of a pin. I transport and it fits easily in my utility tool boxes, it is very sturdy and it has a kick stand so you can park the kayak or Canoe without it hitting the ground. tire wore off. Both tires went flat the day! I had to return. Will look for one that doesn't require air. But loved having a trolley and it did roll very nicely, just didn't last one use.
