Nice and sturdy bed. You need 2 people to put together. Lay everything out in a large room. Loosely put together the ends and bunks. Then carry the large pieces into the final room. Keep the holes on the end support facing in. Start from the middle working out with the bunk supports. Loosely securing the screws on the 2 that require screws and work back and forth from the middle towards the outer. Get everything together then tighten from the bottom up. The anti rattles snap in easier towards the middle of the supports then slide them back towards the frame. ... show more

    • Good quality and straight forward to put together
We've had this for almost 3 years and my son is far from easy on it. It was pretty straight forward to put together. Good quality. I've slept on the top bunk and it's sturdy.

    • My kids will enjoy it, but I did not enjoy assembling it.
On the plus side: Sturdy once assembled, looks nice, has little sound dampeners for the slats to keep it from being too squeaky, slats are close together giving better mattress support, pieces came fairly well packaged so I didn't notice any major damage to the white paint. On the minus side: The directions could be a lot clearer. It's very easy to flip a piece and not realize until almost done assembling. It 100% takes two people to put this monster together. The slats are absolute hell to get into place on both the top and bottom bunk because they have to be done just perfectly or other slats fall out before you get them secured. One of the screwholes in the ladder was not correct so we had to rig it up to attach on the bottom. Many of the welds were pretty sloppy, and some areas that I thought deserved full welds were only spot welded. I was about ready to pull my hair out by the time we finished putting it together, and it took us a good 4 hours or better. ... show more
