My chihuahua mix has slight peach fuzz covering her neck and regular collars irritated her a LOT. This soft padded collar doesn’t irritate her. My only complaint is that it’s too wide; it’s disproportionate on her little body. A narrower collar for small dogs would be perfect.

The adjustment for the size doesn’t stay put. Slides loose easily making it easier for my dog to slip her collar. Also padding bunches up when you tighten it. Also metal clip pops open easily

I don't care for this collar, but I threw the paperwork and packaging away, so I'm going to keep it. I adjusted it to fit my dog, and that took a while to figure out how to adjust it. I got it down to where I could fit 2 fingers between his neck and the collar. I checked again, and I could get 4 fingers between his neck and the collar. I'm not sure if the adjustment mechanism is shifting or if the collar stretches somehow. My dog is a runner, so he has to be carefully contained when out of the yard. He managed to slip out of this collar. So I will be keeping the collar with his tags on it, but I will not use it to walk him. I think it probably feels good on his neck, so if you don't attach a leash to it, I think it works as a necklace for them. Otherwise, I wouldn't buy it again.

We got these because they were padded. They did not stay the size when we tried to walk our dogs. If they pulled the least little bit, the collars would be able to slip off eaily.
