The dvd player in HP affordable pcu is a piece of crap. My previous computer ( new off the shelf) had a one and it quit functioning after a time. Extremely annoying. This latest is no exception. Just a heads up. I have only found this problem in HP computers.

PC is great for the money but the PC's Hard Drive came almost dead. Crystal Disk showed bad health. Not a huge deal since I ordered an SSD anyways but be aware that they reuse old hard drives that barely work.

Was super excited to get this after reading pretty decent reviews, unfortunately my system arrived completely broken. I knew something was wrong the second I plugged in the power supply cord and it was very wobbly and made a static sound every time I would move it. As I thought, the computer will not even turn on. Im assuming the power supply is bad. They claim that they thoroughly inspect and test their products after refurbishment and before reselling, but if that were true I don't see how I was sent a system that doesn't even turn on. I ordered a replacement, I will happily edit my review if I am sent a system that is actually refurbished to working condition. ... show more
