Like a month ago, 3 months later after purchase, I got a message on the screen to activate Windows. It says it comes with Windows 11 Pro, but aparently is just a demo 😡.

I honestly hate this laptop. Normally I will wipe the drive on a new laptop and install windows myself but that does not work on this computer, because the sound drivers will not work correctly. I installed using Windows update, I downloaded drivers from HP, I downloaded drivers straight from the manufacturer (Realtek), didn't work. I spent 2 days on the phone with HP support not being able to get the sound working until I had to download an HP image online and return it it's delivered state with bloatware and all. I thought I would add additional storage as the one I purchased only had a 500Gb SDD, when I popped open the laptop I found where another M.2 slot could be added to the motherboard, but HP decided not to put a connector on it. I had to clone the 500GB drive to the newer 2TB drive and stick the 500GB drive in a drawer. Today there was a software update and when the laptop restarts, I get a Bitlocker screen, and then now I stuck in a recovery loop hell. ... show more
