Complete junk! The screen display is so dim and grainy, despite numerous attempts to adjust these settings. The display looks old school, like the first laptop ever released. I own 2 HP desktops and am obsessed with them. So reliable, vibrant and fast. This thing is a complete fail. My box was taped shut on the top, so assuming this was probably a return and I certainly understand why. I needed this for a business trip and will now be without. Do yourself a favor and purchase direct from a reputable store with a good return policy (not Amazon). Amazon's new policy is that they will issue my refund or credit in 30 days. That doesn't work for me because I am still without a laptop and need to purchase another asap, but you are holding my money ransom. ... show more

This is good value laptop for what you pay. Good performance which is enough for the type of tasks and browsing I'm doing, like online school. It's not too heavy, but doesn't feel cheap. Screen size is plenty for my tasks. What took away a star though is the warranty. I bought this in November 2024 and it should have a 1 year warranty. I went to the HP site and the warranty is expired, it apparently started on January 31st , which seems very odd to me. Anyone buying this today could very well be buying an out of warranty laptop. Still, HP publishes excellent service manuals. ... show more
