I specifically wanted a Windows 10, touchscreen. I got Windows 11 and no touch screen. I had to get Windows 11 back to Windows 10, which I did, but did not notice that it did not have the touchscreen until after I had completely set up the computer with all my settings. Amazon kept saying to return it, but after all the time I spent in downloading my files from my other computer to this new one, I was not going to take the time to wipe it clean and send it back. So I will have to keep without the touchscreen. Total disappointment, especially when you are especially searching for a certain type of computer and their quality control is too lame to ensure the product is correct. I've been holding back on reviewing this because at first I was super excited but now I'm saving up to purchase another laptop. My problem with this computer: it has the WORST BATTERY EVER! I'm not even kidding about this. After it is fully charged (to be fair, it doesn't take long to charge it at all) regular use lasts for only a good 2 hours, if that much. Now, I have to resort to keeping it constantly plugged into the wall outlet if I want to get a full day's work out of it. I've also noticed that if I close my laptop and leave it closed for maybe 30 minutes to an hour (lunch time) when I open it again, the computer doesn't recognize any of my USB devices/external hard drives that I have plugged into my computer. I always have to restart my laptop after this happens and then it recognizes my USB devices. I've never had this issue with any of my other laptops before. I'm so grateful I've hung onto my old laptop because I find myself working on that one more than this new one...just RIDICULOUS! I don't like writing "bad" reviews but I will be honest with myself and with others...be cautious about this particular laptop model. ... show more

Only thing missing is back lit keyboard. I knew it didn't have it, but regret not getting one with it. Otherwise, this is a great machine. Quick, responsive and with good storage. I was looking for a touch screen laptop and looking at the product details and description it claims it is touch screen. Upon opening it, it did not have that capability. I called HP tech support to possibly see if there was something I should “turn on” to make it activate because there was no way the details and description would “falsely advertise” touch screen and it not be. After moments of the technician trying to guide me through the settings, they notice that this particular laptop does not have that capability and was not sure why it was described as such. They advised me to call Amazon and make them aware of the description being inaccurate. The laptop is a beautiful laptop,however, I wanted touch screen and that was a deal breaker.
