Post Error message displayed on the screen. Smart Hard Disk detected an immediate failure. This is the first screen that appears with a warning to save all data. Why didn't the tech catch this before shipping the computer? System diagnostics will not open. I brought the computer to Mexico before I booted. This is unacceptable . The media could not be loaded. Product functions fine when plugged into power only otherwise the battery is toast! Charged it overnight and battery says zero without the power cord. This was supposed to be a grade A and clearly it is not. The screen was also not as described. Unable to contact seller for any partial refund. This is my 3rd computer from Amazon that didn’t function properly from new to repurposed. Not a happy customer! ... show more

Upon initial unboxing: Powered on and saw the HP logo, then the screen was black for over 15min. Upon restart, windows started up just fine but the laptop refused to connect to my home wifi even though other devices had no issue. I must admit that I was shocked when this laptop broke down on me right in the middle of a very very important project! This is the first time that something like this has happened with AMAZON.
