  • Overall great gaming laptop
Capacity: 64GB RAM | 4TB SSD Style: ultra 9 | RTX 5070
Computer is awesome so far. Superior performance compared to my older Alienware. Easy to set up and a fair price. I would definitely make sure it is on sale if you are buying. I would think $2,000 is a fair price, anything more is probably excessive and there are stronger options out there at those higher price points. Pros: Great graphics and visuals, excellent storage (I got the 4TB SSD), overall high end gaming perfomance, no complaints on gaming power with WoW, Warhammer 40k, No Mans Sky, etc. Seems quite durable and does not run nearly as hot or loud as my Alienware M15. The display is beautiful as well. Cons: Sound is weak (not really an issue for me but the speakers are not good at all, if I want sounds I really have to run the volume up), WiFi card is slower than expected (not getting nearly what I would have expected for internet speeds, I am already looking into upgrading the Wifi card, but it works and I am able to game with it, just could be much better) ... show more

  • Excellent Mid-Tier Gaming Laptop for the Value
Capacity: 64GB RAM | 4TB SSD Style: ultra 9 | RTX 5070
This laptop is excellent for work, including 3D video game design. It comes with a free PC Game Pass trial and has handled several new games (Avowed, Starfield, Outer Worlds 2) with ease and efficiency with max GPU usage and temperatures hovering around 150 F for both CPU and GPU using medium and high video settings working at windowed full screen 4k. Way better than I expected, though I do use frame gen and dlss. The laptop is quiet, though I typically use the included cooling fan during gaming. All around this is an excellent mid tier gaming laptop for the money and a powerful work computer for typical everyday tasks. Unless you're an extremely serious gamer this thing will do well for you for the next several years and is my entrance into gaming laptops. ... show more

  • No Cons. Great laptop.
Capacity: 64GB RAM | 2TB SSD Style: ultra 7 | RTX 5060
Purchased as a desktop replacement. I haven't been disappointed. In the business world, I was a power user of financial database, spreadsheet, and data transmission. This PC lives up to anything I throw at it. Hooking up additional monitors is a breeze. Retiring to the Dominican Republic and it will be coming with me for sure. Enjoy yours, I recommend it. ... show more

In love with this computer. It runs so beautifully and the graphics are amazing, and it doesn't overheat at all. The Monitor brightness has a wide range of brightness

Excelente máquina, el único problema es que el producto no se puede registrar porque dice que el número de serie es inválido y no hay nadie el HP que ayude a resolver este problema

  • The best all round laptop I have found!!!
Capacity: 64GB RAM | 2TB SSD Style: ultra 7 | RTX 5060
I did a lot of research on which laptop best fit my needs and wants. I wanted a laptop that could multitask on a regular basis and provide me with the best quality and performance while gaming, listening to music, running Photoshop and designing images, running laser engraving software, doing schoolwork, and streaming videos. The Omen 16 Ultra is absolutely amazing and fit all my needs and wants. I wanted an Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU plus enough ram and space to last me a good while. I went with the Intel Ultra 7 CPU and RTX 5060 GPU with 64gb ram and 2tb SSD. This combo is perfect for downloading all of my games and running all of them in the highest settings. It is also great for multitasking, which is my main way of working. I haven't had any issues with overheating or image degradation while playing games and doing running other things in the background. Thank you, HP UPDATE: The only thing I have noticed besides the sound issues others mentioned, is the power supply isn’t quite enough to maintain a full charge while running some AAA titles. It will also get very hot after a couple hours of playing. Everything else is perfect for what I needed. Thank you ... show more

  • its ok, but i had issues.
Capacity: 64GB RAM | 2TB SSD Style: ultra 9 | RTX 5070
ive had some bios/booting issues, it seems intermittent & ive made sure to keep making backups, but its something ive never had to deal with on any other machine ive ever owned. i updated the bios to the supposed current f.10, but it already was on f.10. customer service doesnt seem to have any technical knowledge, seems like they mostly deal with logistic stuff, & it takes a while to chat back & forth over messenger on here to get nowhere really. im pretty sure theres no cmos battery on this thing, so i dont know what else it could be. it usually boots to the login screen on the 2nd try. sometimes the mouse freezes up when somethings loading, which is another thing ive never had to deal with before. i havnt actually had any crashes once its booted, & the performance tests online seem to pass the benchmarks. the included/upgraded ram & ssd modules are the bottom barrel budget modules available that are still compatible for this laptop, even though apparently this laptop could handle up to gen 5 modules, so thats where the price drop was made possible i guess. i havnt noticed any overheating, but i havnt pushed it too far. i bought this laptop to have a massive overhead that i hope to never even approach. ive heard the fans kick on for stuff like image iso creation, & even then its not super loud. the included stand is pretty sturdy & adds plenty of air as long as the laptop stays in one place. i was a little worried about the sound, its not mindblowing, i think the speakers on my android cell phone get just slighter louder. i do use this for music production so the sound is mainly through an audio interface with headphones anyway, but i havnt tried laptops audio out into speakers yet. the hinges are sturdy, i have to hold down the bottom to pull it open, but that what i want. i really wish there was just 1 more usbc on this, & 1 more m.2 ssd slot, but overall, i guess it could be worse. i did end up with windows home on accident because the listing didnt say in the title or photos that it wasnt windows pro, but there are solutions for that on the high seas i guess. ... show more
