The laptop is fast and modern with a sleek design. I have had no performance issues with it (I use it for productivity). However, after about 8 months of owning the laptop, one of the screws on the back of the laptop fell out and one of the other screws is a little loose. This is a minor issue, but it's annoying because I can't find a replacement screw online. If you are the seller and you're reading this can you send me a replacement screw and a screwdriver that's small enough to tighten it. By default, the CPU won't go above about 1.7 GHz. You can allow to CPU to use its full potential (5 GHz) by going to the bios (press esc while booting up) and changing the settings. This will use more power but the battery life is already stellar so in most situations it's nothing to worry about. ... show more

Update as 1/26/2024 With windows update and the laptop plugged into wired network both Bluetooth and WiFi functionality was restored tonight. I am 100% not sure if it was just software or something else. I am just glad I hae the fall back of wired networking via my docking station. Update as 1/25/2024: This last week both the WIFI and the Bluetooth on this model has stopped working. I am not sure if it is a software issue with drivers with Windows 11 or if it is a hardware issue. I have had to hardwire into my router via my dock for this last week. Previous Review: After I first ordered it and realizing it wasn't a factory/mint laptop but rather an upgraded laptop I was so afraid. I thought oh no what I have gotten into. I started reading other reviews, and my fears grew always looking at the negative ones first. But I received my laptop it was clean it was wrapped nicely they provided all the necessary original HP parts to go along with it. After charging it for the first time, it went through the normal startup process, I scanned for any malware or any other things of malicious nature. There was none. I am a computer professional so I was excited for a laptop I could use for multiple purposes, I had an old Surface Book, but as they get old their batteries grow fat and eventually they start to become a little unreliable, as with all aging PCs. I used that for various computer projects, docker containers, virtualization. And then I would use it as a tablet to take notes, in meetings, during worship services at church. It had lost that ability with its old age and not ever wanting to be a tablet again. So back to the HP I have just gotten it and have been going through the various setups. But as of yet I am happy with this purchase and very satisfied with how clean and professional the delivery was. Now am I going to keep the packaging just in case something goes haywire of course... I purchased this computer. One day I started the setup process fully powered. The very next day, the computer didn't even come on. I disconnected the computer, plugged it up, press the start button... nothing, no indicator lights...again nothing (no response). I contacted Amazon and was notified Amazon can't refund me, because the computer is pass the 3 months time period for returns. I then contacted PCOnline US, and they will not refund me as well. They want me to send the computer to them to repair it...are you kidding me. Repair it?...the computer won't evenpower on. Why would I even trust the repair knowing the comp is faulty. Just give me money back please!!! Where's the integrity of companies? I guess as long as you got your money, you could careless about the customer. Now I'm out over $1,000.00 and I have a computer that doesn't work. ... show more

I love this laptop! It's really fast, loaded with features and the touch screen works really well. The seller, Computer Upgrade King, did a great job delivering this exactly on time and it was packaged very well. It also included a detailed list of all the quality-control tests that had been done before it was shipped. I needed Win Pro to run Hyper-V VMs on it and so far it's working extremely well. Bought this and received it very fast. It runs fast, has excellent touch features and supports my business needs better than any previous laptop I have had. After two mid-grade laptops in the past let me down, I will only buy the top end for now on. I guess we get what we pay for.

My grandson is in finishing up his degree in Mechanical Eng. To help him finish his degree and to use when he has to go out into the real world and get a job, I got his this laptop. After much research, I picked buying it here on Amazon because of the options available, to can't order my options from HP. 2TB SSD and 64meg memory. His system should not be having to SWAP, thus saving CPU cycles, saving Power. Being a 2-1, he can use in to take note on in class. And the price, WOW ... show more
