I am really pleased with this laptop! I run photo editing software so my system has to have lots of RAM. This is terrific! The plentiful hard drive storage is an added bonus, I had to use an external HD on my previous laptop. The processor is a little old but it's still nice. Other laptops with similar specs were priced at least $100+ higher. My photo editing software runs pretty well on this and surprisingly the machine doesn't get hot. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a really nice laptop that's actually affordable. I'm not a gamer so I can't speak to that but this thing is exactly what I was hoping it would be! I have absolutely no complaints. The seller also shipped this quickly and safely. It arrived in pristine condition. I truly couldn't be happier with my new laptop!

For a basic laptop in the budget range, it appears to work fairly well. Set-up was easy (a bit time-consuming with Windows updates but that's how things go). The fit and feel of the laptop is good. This is a replacement for a crashed 3 year old HP Pavilion that had the motherboard die on it. As others have mentioned, having a backlit keyboard would be nice, but I knew what I was getting. Speed is good and getting my settings changed to how I like them went smoothly. I use a wireless mouse, so can't comment on the touchpad very much as I never liked them. My only issue is the warantee ... the seller registered the device about 11 months ago, so I will not get the full manufacturer's warantee as stated in the listing. Hopefully, it won't be necessary but I was a little gun shy after the previous HP fried the motherboard after only 3 years (although with a lot of travel involved). I had to spring for the 2 year warrantee through Amazon just in case.

I would really have liked this laptop to be useful and mostly it is. However it has a nasty habit of going along fine then up pops an "Error" message and it shuts itself off. Running an app or just browsing Amazon or anything on the internet and it suddenly decides to quit working! The message only appears for a micro-second before disappearing. Obviously unacceptable. I tried to find some support from the seller but good luck winding your way through the convoluted maze Amazon creates to get any form of customer support from anyone. I will continue to work with it until the return date. I did find a phone for the seller on the original packaging. I will try them. Update-Blue screen errors and "Windows Shutdown Unexpectedly" messages continue even though I have run every diagnostic test available with no problems found. I even loaded a "fresh" version of Windows 11 with no improvement. Update 05/29/2024 - Unit was returned and has been received by seller per UPS. No response yet. It was in pristine condition but no doubt the 10% "restocking fee" will be applied to refund assuming I get one. Serial number is CND3242J1D. If you order one check for this number. Update 05/30/2024-Resolution: PC Online has refunded the full amount of my purchase. I will give them 5 stars as a seller. My sincere thanks to them and Amazon for a quick and efficient return and refund.

Easy set up, run the laptop through many hard hitting test for a few hours with no issues. Had to contact HP as there was an issue with the wall plug and missing set up guide. They ask if I purchased the unit directly from them. No I purchased it from PCOnline one of your vendors, HP asked well then you will need to contact them. I was up set and contacted PCOnline and with in 12 hours they shipped a new plug and set up guide. Bottom line, if you shop on Amazon for a computer, look for PCOnline and buy from them via Amazon, best customer service ever.
