I very pleased with the unit and the packaging that Amazon used as their vendor for this HP desktop. I wanted increased memory and faster processing speed, and this HP desktop delivers the goods. While it didn't come with an internal DVD/CD unit, purchasing an external unit was easy and very cost effective. The glitch in the transaction was trying to register the desktop with HP. The model and serial numbers listed on box were a little different in reality. HP has an online app that will check your computer for s/n and model #.
