I got one in excellent condition they claimed. Great price. No wonder. Dirty, cracked screen. Can’t be used unless connected to the internet. Froze on connect site. I’m very disappointed. Amazon usually does a better job. But hey, you get what you pay for.

This Chromebook is absolutely functional. I love the 11 inch size of the laptop. One problem I have is that the battery heats up when the device is on my lap. I solved this issue by placing the Chromebook on a Tray table (desk) and because there are rubber feet on the bottom there is enough air flow to keep the battery cool. This is an issue with the make of the device, the only issue I've had with the renewed factor was they sent a charger that did not work with the laptop. the company was friendly and respectful and gave me enough of a refund to purchase a new charger. I started this review by stating this laptop is functional and not exceptional. the display is good not great, the speakers work well not great, and the "lap" top cant sit on your lap to long because of the battery heating up. But i gave it four stars because you can't beat the price on a Chromebook good till 2029, and the durability of this specific model is supposed to be good because it is made for students who are known to be rough on laptops. Also I have had no issues with speed of web browsing or file downloads. I connected it to my Wifi and after a semi brief set of updates i was ready to go. after playing with it for a day or so i have determined that this little Chromebook will serve me well for the next few years until i can afford to purchase a better laptop. ... show more

No backlit keys as advertised. Keys themselves were a little sticky and tricky because sometimes they would not work right away unless you closed the laptop and then opened it again. Kept the laptop because in the end, it still does work and the sound was actually quite good. Purchased for under $70.00 so mainly use it for watching Netflix and web surfing. Not sure the storage size was accurate but if you only use it to stream and web surf it is fine. Education edition appears durable. Chrome OS updates ends in less than a year so buyer beware. ... show more
