This Downswept Douglas Fir tree is 12 feet tall and has a 44 inch diameter base, creating a slimmer profile and making it a better option for those with limited space. Molded from real tree branches for an authentic living tree appearance, this tree features our trademarked ‘Feel Real’ technology. Hundreds of crush-resistant polyethylene tips form full bodied branches to create a tree with remarkable realism. The tree is designed with a hinged branch system that allows the branches to swing down for a quick and simple set-up and fold back in for easy storage. Set aside 45-60 minutes after assembly to properly shape the tree by peeling back the branches and pulling the tips apart to give the branches a more full-bodied look. This fantastically festive tree is strung with 900 Dual Color LED lights prior to packaging and includes a sturdy, metal base for a more convenient setup. The Dual Color LED bulbs can alternate between white and multicolor lights and includes a switch to control ten different light functions, allowing the bulbs to twinkle, flash or fade on either color setting. The lights operate individually, so if the bulb lens has not been cracked or broken, the light set will continue to illuminate except for any individual bulbs that are not working. This tree also includes PowerConnect, an additional feature where the wires run through the middle pole of the tree, eliminating the need for extension cords and plugs in the branches. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! We recently purchased a home with 18 ft ceilings so of course we had to get the 12 ft tree to match! I have never had a tree this tall before so was very nervous about how long it would take to put up etc. It took about 2-3 hours to put it up AND decorate. Lights worked perfectly out of the box. There are several different settings and colors to set the lights at also. I was worried about the fullness since its a "slim" tree. There were no issues with fullness and it fit the space perfectly.     • 10-mode Light Switch Failed Fast -- AVOID.
Yes, this is a genuine "first-world problem", but after spending several hundred bucks and investing lots of time, failure sucks. So here's my review: The tree's construction IS VERY good -- looks very realistic -- but the 10-mode light control switch failed in under a week, and that's a very important part of the system and, of course, the aesthetic of a Christmas Tree. Only "multi colored" light options are now available (which I don't like at all) and, with about 10 hours invested in setting up ("fluffing" branches) and decorating the tree, and with family in-bound, returning the tree isn't a good option. I've searched high and low for a replacement switch without success. Both Amazon chat bots and the tree manufacturer's website both explained that no replacement switches are available. Bummer. The switch's connectors have a unique combination of male/female plugs that simply don't match any other (third-party) switches I've found. So, I've resorted to buying an 8-mode switch -- hoping that a "solid white/clear" mode is among the available functions -- and will cut off the connectors and modify/solder as necessary to complete the circuit. Prior to writing this review, I disassembled the switch and inspected the switch's PCB for any obviously broken/cold solder joints -- nadda. True, I didn't go as far as using an o-scope to test each component, but there's clearly a failure point somewhere on the board. The power supply is delivering a steady 29V, so I'm quite certain the problem is somewhere within the switch's circuitry. Again, this is a first-world problem and I'm thankful that this is the most frustrating thing I've had to deal with in the past week (outside of the stuff I am paid to deal with). Merry Christmas everyone. Hope you're doing well. Don't buy this tree unless you care little for the lighting modes. ... show more

I Bought Tree last year and it did work on first effort. Now only 2 lights up after trying different plugs and read manual. Tried multiple times. Reached out to customer service. Hope they can help me. That being said, it was beautiful last year a true 10/10. Next day update: National Tree Co. is sending me another tree, due to arrive tomorrow. Straight forward set up but you are not launching the space shuttle so it should be fairly easy for the average person and an extra set of hands is helpful. The tree stand welding broke from the get go but it wasn’t bad enough to make it not functional. I it replaced anyway with a stand that has wheels and makes it much easier to decorate. It Takes quite a bit of fluffing but that’s expected on a new tree and 12 ft tall. It looks amazing and fits my space to the “T”. The control box and wiring for turning the tree on and off and for changing light modes looks and feels very “chincy” but if it holds up fair enough & good enough for me. Time will tell but I was due as my lights had been going out on the old one. I’m pleased and would recommend this tree but get a roller base for a 12ft tree it’s a game changer. ... show more

This tree really is beautiful. You have to take the time to fan out the branches to get a more full effect. There are still some spaces which you can place a larger ornament or ribbon to cover. Overall it’s nice and looks great. The white lights give off a more yellow tint. So in al a great tree for the amount of time we had to order. I think the tree could be more full for the price tag but again depending on how you decorate it, it looks great. The light setting and color options is good too.     • Easy, quick, terrific
This tree comes together quickly compared to our old tree. The branches are on hinges so its simply a matter of connecting the 5 sections and the lights in each section , then “fluffing” the branches. The light selection is amazing. We are very happy with this purchase.

Beautiful tree. The real looking pine needles are not through out the entire tree but more like one little bushel per branch. There’s not an over abundance of lights, enough though. It’s sturdy and easy to install.
