My twin daughters ordered this laptop for college. So far, they've been saying it's fast, has a long battery life, charges quickly when low, and is lightweight, making it easy to take to class. I received and charged it up. Turned it on got my wifi connected and the laptop began the updates. When updates were done it shut off. I started it back up and began looking to see what software it had and setting up stuff. Then a message popped up in a box on the screen that the fan was not working and I was not able to complete reading the message before it shut down again. So I waited for a while and started it up again hoping to be able to finish reading the message. In the message it said not to use the computer or it could be damaged. So I called Amazon and they told to call HP. I am NOT at all happy that they sold a defective product and I didn't even have it 10 hrs. And now it is my problem to solve. ... show more
