This bed was so worth the money. The only bad thing I can say is I was missing one screw, but I had extras laying around the house. The assembly was fairly easy. I would not recommend doing this project alone. It would be faster with two or three people I got the king size in the black velvet gold trim, so beautiful so sturdy sits up pretty high 10 out of 10 would recommend ... show more

I put 4 stars because it took FOREVER to assemble. I had to do it on my own. I recommend 2-3 people to assemble. The headboard was what took soo long. Mainly because some of the holes didn’t line up when trying to screw it together so I kind of Bootlegged it to make it work. Also some of the gold metal pieces were bent not allowing me to connect the pieces so I had to get some PLIERS TO UNBEND METAL. I was not about to send it back it’s an wast of money and too heavy. Elegant, sturdy, high quality. It doesn’t even move after installation. Very comfortable (but I owe some of that comfort to my foam mattress - highly recommend). I have a 12inch mattress, and the headboard is still high. No box spring used. With two people, it took us about 45min to an hour. I will say, that the package is extremely heavy, so pleeeeease have someone help before you tweak your back like I did, haha! ... show more

Very complicated assembly with pieces mismatching. Had few parts came in as scratched and dented. Too much effort to send them back so decided to suck it up. I installed it around my adjustable base so can’t say much about how durable or solid the base is. Look wise it’s good but i think the manufacturing wise it’s not good enough to have hole alignment being so tight and so difficult to put together. They should be shipping it in better packaging to avoid damages as any dent or scratch is very prominent on the kind of gold finish it is. I still liked the design, and that was the reason we bought it but wouldn’t recommend with the difficulty in assembly, holes alignment problems and damages in shipping. ... show more

    • Pretty But Hard To Assemble

This bed is so pretty & elegant looking. I gave 3 stars because it took me 3 days to put together 😭 the pieces on the headboard were hard to align but I finally got it. It feels nice & sturdy though. I have a 14 inch mattress and the headboard still has nice height on it.
