This is a very attractive bed and is very sturdy. It was "semi-easy" to put together. You do have to really follow the directions and make sure you have all the pieces laid out in order but once you get started putting it together. I like this bedframe and think it looks great in the space I have for it. It is nice that the frame, headboard, and drawers are all in the package. The bed is great. Very sturdy once assembled. Doesn’t creak, shift or slide. The foam pads in between the metal ensure a very quiet bed. Assembly instructions were not horribly difficult to follow but did take time and some finesse. Warning: Do not use power tools, this mdf is not meant for that pressure and it won’t end well. I had a near mishap early on, thankfully it wasn’t a vital error. Once assembled, the bed sleeps well. It is comfortable to sleep on as well as getting out of. The platform is not terribly low and with the mattress is about 26” high. I am a short person so someone taller may not find this as easy. Overall I am very happy with it. Would like to have matching nightstands though, the bookcase is behind the pillows and not as easily accessible as a nightstand would be. I do like the built in electrical/usb plugs though. I love how absolutely sturdy this bed is! Great for a Nectar hybrid mattress I have. A couple of things that I thought were not the greatest. - The barn doors are going to go, they rattle too much and that drives you crazy after a while - The statement that it takes two people two hours to put together, well that is a bit enthusiastic. It took two people almost 4 hours here in total if you count in verifying all parts, and setup. - It is a bit lower than it appears, pay attention to the actual dimensions, I failed to do so LOL, don't be an ME. The big plus on installation though is that the parts are numbered in the order they are used which makes it very much easier to put together. Overall excellent study bed, Working on a way to resolve the barn door thing. For now I have a piece of carboard on each to fill in the gap. ... show more

I really like the bed frame. I originally got shipped the wrong bed frame, however I reached out to the seller directly and received wonderful customer service. They were quick to respond and very quick to ship a new frame. I’m very grateful for their customer service. The bed frame took about 3 hours to install, but was kind of fun. The doors do rattle slightly, so it may be a bit noisy if you’re conducting activities in your bed. However, it’s not noticeable for normal sleeping. I do recommend this product. ... show more

I've had this bed frame for 2 months now and its been great. Setup: Follow the directions and you'll be alright. Took my husband and I no more than an hour or so to put together. Sturdy: so far this has held up to...activities...and kids running in and jumping on it so I'd say it's pretty sturdy. Esthetic: Looks great. Love the farmhouse barn doors. The slide nice and smoothly on the track and I can hide the sides or the middle. The shelves on either side I believe are adjustable. Plugs: there are 2 plugs and 2 usb ports. The plugs are a little close together so be sure to only use small plugs. Height: this bed is on the shorter side. It is a platform so I should have expected that but I didn't realize as I'm used to having a metal frame and box spring underneath. You vould possibly use a box spring to add some height but iy may mess with the barn doors. We have a wedge pillow at the head of our bed to help keep anything from falling behind the mattress underneath the headboard. The front drawers do work and they are great little drawers. I love that they lock into the frame so they don't just randomly slide out. ... show more

Item shipped out in two separate shipments; which wasn’t a problem and completely expected. However, each box took a completely separate route causing one box to be delayed while the first arrived ahead of schedule. When the second box finally arrived two pieces were damaged slightly, but the frame was able to be put together. Photos sent from the recipient didn’t look anything like the listing photos. But the recipient loved it and that was all that mattered. ... show more

I was a bit worried about buying the bed, but I really liked the style and went with it and I am glad I did. It did take longer than 2.5 hours to put together, but it was well worth it. The parts were all clearly labeled.
