My 50lb lab pointer mix fits very well in this with room to spare. He’s 15 years old now and therefore it’s uncomfortable for him to lay on the floor, and he does a lot of laying down and sleeping! He likes sleeping in this and retreating when it gets too loud / chaotic for him. It’s very sturdy and took my teenager just a few minutes to put together. It is pretty roomy, my 13 year old son can fit in it with room to spare if he curls up. Very very soft too.

10 minute set up, soft and comfortable and large enough for our 60 pound retriever and his sister. This cave bed is well constructed and sturdy enough to survive some rough housing by both dogs. We will get the smaller version for our other dog soon

This is a fantastic dog hideaway, especially for the price. What I like most about it is that it’s lightweight so we can move it from room to room without having bulky crates everywhere. This is obviously not for containment but rather to give your pet a place to relax while feeling safe and cozy. The material is just thick enough to create a dark space on the inside so they can nap in the middle of the day without it being too bright. I presume it also keeps them free of drafts so it probably is a lot warmer than a crate with metal bars. We put a heated blanket in ours so our dogs are super cozy, and both of our 25 pound dogs can lay it at the same time (Frenchie & Boston Terrier). It was also super easy to put together, which I love. And we can bring it with us on vacation whereas lugging a regular crate up the stairs when we go to our beach house rental is a real pain. This is the perfect travel crate to bring a piece of home for our dogs beyond just their dog beds. Excellent buy.

We bought this for our 3 month-old weimaraner puppy. She is getting adjusted to sleeping in this at night. I wish the material on the bottom mattress pad and the house itself was a little tougher as she wants to chew it. This is why I gave it a four star rating. The softness is nice but if she can get beyond the chewing stage so that it lasts I will change it to a five star rating. We are hoping that she will grow to love this house and just go in this to sleep at night. It was very easy for my husband to assemble and it fits great in the space in our bedroom. It is roomy enough for her to grow into it.

Ordered the XX-Large version for my 94 lbs rottweiler and it is a good size and fit. Item was well packed and came with extra elbow joints. The outside cover and cushion came in vacuum seal and rolled up. The rolling process and sealing appears to be finished with heat. Some other reviews noted that there were holes in the cover and/or cushion. This may have been due to the heat sealing. I did not this issue. Assembly is very easy; be sure to push rods together fully and into elbow joints fully. It helps to have another set of hands for zipping the cover into place. Good quality for the price. I wish the bedding was a little thicker; it may need more time to expand. I've added blankets to compensate. TL;DR - My dog loves it. Great buy.

My dogs LOVE this and the structure was easy to put together, but the cover is just way too tight. I know it’s supposed to be tight, but we couldn’t even get the front bar covered and multiple spots of the seam tore. And we were trying to be careful and gentle with it. Not very good quality. The size is fantastic though.

I was really pleased with this dog house. It went together easily. The most difficult part was stretching the cover over the frame. My pomeranian loves it. She usually hides under furniture, but she feels safe and secure in her new house.
