So I got to searching on Amazon and this one had some of the best reviews so I went with it. Fast forward to when my now 8 year old son was opening his gift. He LOVED it!! The colour, how light it is to carry but the best thing for us as parents was how silent it is when he glides across the house! He has one of those crazy carts and they are so loud. We sort of expected this one to be somewhat loud. Not even! He figured out how to use it within a couple of tries with our help, and by the 3rd try he was a little Pro. I was worried it would move too fast, but it is reasonably paced and he's learning what to do to move fast. I would definitely purchase it again, as it's easy to use and ride, definitely worth every penny, and it hopefully lasts him long, but mainly just for the look on his face! All he could master was, "Brooooooooooooo!!!! What???!!! Bro!!!! I love the colour, I love how it looks, I love everything! I'll never walk anywhere again!!" Yes this hoverboard appears to be cute, and it totally is. However the smell of chemical coming off this thing stunk up my whole house, so I knew immediately I was returning this thing but then the thing just started taking off on its own, beeping wouldn’t shut off AND it wouldn’t charge, the charger wouldn’t go into port. The company doesn’t respond to customer concerns…. So please listen when I say this company sucks, the customer service sucks. Do NOT waste your time or money. Thankfully Amazon customer service was amazing per the usual and were able to help me. It’s got no battery life No value for money And it certainly is NOT giftable. Bought for my oldest grandaughter. She is braver than me. The Bluetooth is a great addition. We have spent many hours outside watching her ride this. Definitely worth the money.

This was smaller than other brand my older children have. But cheaper in price. The battery only last 30 min and take 2 hr to charge. That seems really weak. I bought this for my grandson. The unit is sturdy and shiny! The lights on the wheels were bright and he was able to get it charged and use it within an hour. The ease of use was effortless. He was on it and gliding throughout the house and driveway with ease. It was a great value compared to other hoverboards I had bought previously.     • The batteries last 1 hour tops before they start to die.

The Hoover boards themselves are great. Love everything about them except the battery life. We charge them over night or while the kids are at school and when the use them the battery dies within an hour. Not to mention I got 2 of them, one for each child and they came with different chargers and one charger doesn’t work well so we have to use the better one for both and the company won’t replace the one charger that doesn’t work great. And don’t waste your time spending money on the warranty because the company tries to use any reason not to replace or refund you your money. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone because they cost a lot of money and so does the warranty and they last an hour a day then you are charging it all night again. There are better brands out there that you don’t have such a hassle with if there are any issues. ... show more
