This reviewer can only report on use of the Hover One Superstar in its Buggy Configuration, not as a stand alone two-wheeler...so here goes. Of course this device is a hoverboard electric scooter hooked to a frame/seat build-out to transform it into a sort of "Go-Cart" and it works in that capacity though I will say that having the cart frame strapped to the hoverboard isn't my idea of an "ideal" coupling solution it does work and it is fairly easy to attach the two together and also de-couple them into their separate components. The build-quality seems good and sturdy and because I try not to be rough when handling my stuff, expect it will have a long service life. One thing I did not expect was this type of vehicle is just about useless on anything but a flat surface, we live in Hill Country and even the subdivision roads are all at an up or downhill grade. Superstar Buggy can go downhill without a problem but gives out coming back up that hill so every hill you descend, you return toting your go-kart in your arms. Of course there are places close by that were graded flat like parking lots, recreational parks and the like. I just have throw my Hover-1 in the back and drive the car there to ride my new plaything, That is not a deal-killer for me, just letting the readers here know the limitations of the buggy, I would guess without the buggy weight the two-wheel regular scooter can climb grades better but personally I am not ready to venture into that territory being the cautious sort. Wrap up this report by saying everything needed was is box and the device was simple to charge, powered on as expected - pretty lights glowed and flashed and I could play music from the phone via bluetooth to the on-board speaker on the Superstar. The ride was smooth on a flat surface, but you will fell every bump or little stone you drive over. The steering and acceleration performed as it should and stopping/ reverse did their thing using the two control bars, pretty simple to operate. All in all I'd like to high five this product I think that's well earned.

Here are some Pro's and Cons: PRO's * Dual Functionality: You can enjoy the hoverboard solo or transform it into a seated buggy for a different riding experience. It's like getting two rides in one! * Easy Assembly & Use: The buggy attachment seems easy to install and remove, and the controls are straightforward. * Decent Speed & Range: The 7 mph top speed is perfect for cruising around, and the 6-mile range offers a good amount of playtime on a single charge. Cons: * Might Not Be for Everyone: The buggy seat might not be comfortable for longer rides, especially for taller riders. It's more suited for shorter trips or younger children. * Limited Maneuverability in Buggy Mode: The turning radius seems a bit wide in buggy mode, so it might not be ideal for tight spaces. * The weight limit of 220 feels like its kind of pushing it and you may not get the power you're expecting (I am right at 220) All in All~ This combo is a fun option for anyone who wants to experience both hoverboarding and a seated ride. Fun to sit on and ride, assembly wasn't fun. For about $200, this is a good deal, just the board alone is around $150 or more.

This hoverboard was easy to assemble. I thought it would be bigger than it actually was. However, this is a perfect gift for the entire family and it keeps the kids outside!

We've had these in the past but my kids were too young to really take care of them. This is great, easy to assemble and use. My 5 year old taught himself how to drive it too. Great gift idea!

I'm 42 and had never tried one of these hoverboards. So I thought it might be fun. I'm in good shape so didn't think I would get hurt too bad from using it. I've been playing around with it now for a few weeks, and I'm happy with it. But I am also a bit disappointed. I was able to stand on it and ride it around after ten minutes of practice. Its really not as hard as I expected. Its a well made item. Feels good in the hand. The buggy attachment is well made also. It felt strong enough that I felt very safe using it. My only complaint is that they list the weight limit of around 225 lbs. I am 200 lbs so I thought I would have no trouble using it. Well I did. I didn't have trouble with it supporting me. But it just doesn't have enough power to move me around well. Its fine on a perfectly level surface. But if I tried to go up a 1% include it would stall out. Couldn't handle the weight. I thought maybe the buggy version would be able to handle the weight better. It couldn't. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend using the buggy version on anything other than a perfectly level surface. Since the hoverboard doesn't have real brakes you can get going extra fast going down a slope, and its tough to stop. Its a neat toy and great if you live in a level area. I don't. I'll enjoy playing around with it, but won't be able to use it as much as I hoped to.
