These is a solid hoverboard for children and light adults (120 pounds or less). What to know: Pros; - 7 year old was comfortable riding back and forth, turning and what it within a 10-15 minutes. - sturdy construction - cool toy Cons: - even small uneven sidewalk bumps pretty much prevent you from moving forward. - battery last only a few miles (3ish) Overall I give this 4 stars. I ordered this for my 8-year-old son, however, I think I want to use it more than he does. I'm over 40, and this is the first time I have ever used a hoverboard, so I was surprised on how they actually work. It reminds me of when I first learned to snowboard, and you need to be very strong in your thighs to keep your balance and to go where you need to go. I ordered the pink and purple zebra print, and it lights up in the front and on the sides. It will give you a warning sound if it thinks you are in a somewhat dangerous situation. This actually works fine on the carpet in the house, and I can get some speed maneuvering around and actually getting a workout on my thighs. It's a little tricky learning how to get off of it because if I only take one foot off it wants to spin out. Because this lights up so much it would be fun to use in the dark outside if you have a safe area to do so. It gets up to 6 mph which is pretty fast, and it is supposed to get about 3 hours in battery strength which I haven't actually timed. I just unexpectedly decided to use this for fun and a workout situation in the carpet in the house for my thighs so go me lol. It's much faster where intended outside on pavement. If I have any issues, I'll come back and update, since I'll continue to use this heavily but so far so good. ... show more

This kids hoverboard is very nice. I want to reiterate the KIDS part of it. Because the weight limit is not made for adults lol. Maybe very small adults, but just don’t try it! I unboxed it at home and the first thing I noticed was the sleek looks and size. Definitely more kid sized, the width and weight makes it pretty obvious it's designed for a smaller person. It's incredibly light which gave me some concern - just how long will the battery last? It is easy to use, relatively fast charging, and surprisingly more controllable than I thought.
