I purchased two of these fory kids. They rode them one day. Scuffed the bottoms of both. They had a great time. That night we charged them but the next day, only the one would turn on. Having two allowed me to try both chargers. Neither charger made a difference. I checked the power button and it is fine. I checked the power was making it to the circuit board and that was fine. Due to the kids scratching the bottom having ran it one time, I decided to take it apart and see if there was obvious damage because I assume that even if I return it, there would be an accusation that we damaged it. Nothing was obviously damaged. The batter has approximately 30V but the unit will not turn on. Again, the switch is fine and using my voltmeter I can trace the power from a wall charger going all the way to the control board. At this point I assume that the battery is no good. At this point I am going to contact H1 to see if I can get a replacement battery. ... show more

Hoverboard has held up well - charging takes several hours(6-7 hrs) but decent run time. Kiddo uses this indoors only even though its rated for outdoors so your experience may vary. Bluetooth works as well. Has 90 day manufacturer warranty!

The hoverboard itself is good quality- my son has been running into all the walls in my house with it for the last month. We had a snafu with the charger, though. The first hoverboard was sent without one. It says all over the box to contact hover-1 directly with any problems so I did. I received an email back informing me that any further response would take a while, and not to email repeatedly because it would "close the service ticket" if there were multiple emails sent. After waiting a month for a response, we contacted Amazon directly. A new hoverboard was sent right away which did have a charger. Strong work, Amazon. Bottom line- it's a nice product but if you have an issue, the Hover-1 support isn't great. Also, FYI, apparently the colors can vary, the first one was blue/pink/purple and the second one was green and blue. ... show more

My daughter loves hers she got For her bday back in June 2020. However I’ve had to make an insurance claim since then and now purchase a whole different board for Xmas 2020. The plug in for the charger on the device is horrible. I don’t know why the charging port design would be made with 3 very thin prongs that have to be line up with the charger to be plugged in....I’m an adult and I’ve had trouble plugging in the charger, the prongs bending and it lining up and currently (Dec 2020) one of those thin prongs broke off completely so I can’t charge it anymore. My little brother kind of rigged it someway to charge after I spent another $200 on a whole new one. Besides the charging issue( which is a big issue) it works perfectly and it’s very pretty and music sounds great. Battery life isn’t so good, she might get an hour the most before it starts dying but that could also be because of my charging port issues. I have already made an insurance claim with Ausuron over the summer, I have to find out if I’m able to make another again. ... show more

We bought one for our 10 year old for Christmas. Daddy charged it up the reccomended time and we wrapped an empty box for under the tree. Christmas day, it would die as soon as unplugged, no matter what we tried. Emailed Amazon and they sent a replacement immediately and refunded once the original was dropped off at a UPS office to be returned. Second one arrived right away and charged right up. It has lights and connects to Bluetooth so the kids love riding it while playing their favorite songs. We live on a dairy farm and it goes on the gravel driveway, paved barn floors and across yards and pastures. We will be buying two more for the younger siblings. ... show more

My child received this hoverboard as a gift for christmas 2019. Came quickly and on time. The hoverboard worked great and was a ton of fun for 3 weeks. My son went to ride the hoverboard but after pressing the power button, as he did in the past, the hoverboard would not balance and would just fall forward with continuous beeping. We tried troubleshooting the hoverboard and were successful, worked like new. The next day we had the same problem after powering on. We attempted to troubleshoot it again but have been unsuccessful. I submitted a ticket/claim through Hover-1.com on 1/17/20 but did not hear back from them. I added a note to my 1/17/20 ticket on 1/22/20 but as of today 1/28/20 I still have yet to hear back. Tried locating a phone number online but have been unable to find anything but an email. I submitted a new ticket today, we will see what comes of that. Now I am stuck with a broken hoverboard that my child rode less than a month and NO help from the company that made it and warranties it for 3 months after purchase, and a sad child based on the fact that was his only gift due to the price. Would not reccommend this brand of hoverboard due to lack of customer service. ... show more

The hoverboards colors are beautiful and the Bluetooth speaker that is connected via a mobile device is great. It’s fast enough for a child five to ten years old. It goes about 8 MPH.
