This is Day 1 review, and tried inside the house. I purchased the insurance ($10/2yr), and will update if I find out this is worth. Basically, for $59, this is great beginner board. Decent quiet motor, 100Wx2 which is good enough, actually great fit for 40 yo adult and 5 yo kid. Since you can’t adjust the mode (beginner etc) like other models this limit turns out to be great start. For 11 yo boy, I’m sure he’ll ask for more power tomorrow when riding outside. We tested in house and motor was fairly quiet except the “beep” from the speaker when pressing the switch. There are some cons listed below, but none will reduce the star. App (iOS ver tested) is not supporting this model even though the quick start guide tells to install the app first - don’t scan QR code, you’ll waste your time. You can connect speaker via Bluetooth directly, but I’d not recommend as I didn’t enjoy… Bluetooth Speaker has short range of connection (approx 5 feet) with poor sound quality.

I purchased two of these units. One from amazon warehouse as used like new and one normal purchase as new. The used like new purchase one looked fantastic, like new in fact. However it would not charge. The charger would stay green as if it was always completed charging but the unit itself wouldnt take a charge. It would turn on when the charger was plugged into it but as soon as the charger was removed it would shut off. I then returned that one and bout a brand new one. Well this one also turned up with a charging problem. When plugging the charger into the unit the light would turn red indicating it was charging but it would then fade out and turn green. This cycle would repeat indefinitely. Seems that the charger was trying to charge but the unit was pulling too much power and shutting the charger off so the charger would then turn back on and retry. The unit wouldnt turn on at all as if the battery was not even connected. I tried two different chargers and they both did the same thing so the fault was with the unit itself not the charger. I ended up returning them both and am going with a different brand.

This was a birthday gift for my 9 year old daughter. She’s been riding hoverboards of friends when she goes over to their houses and has been asking for one of her own for months. This is a really nice, well-built, sturdy, solid hoverboard. The lights that change colors are fun and it really zips around! It moves very smoothly and my daughter loves it! My 6 year old son loves this hoverboard too and we may be getting another one for his birthday in August. It’s of high quality and we would most definitely purchase this same one for him.

My kids love these things! We have two (kids and hoverboards) kids are 3.5 & 5.5. My 3yr old is a bit wild and has crashed into the corners of the walls a few times and cracker the plastic that covers the wheels. It’s very brittle plastic. The only other thing we don’t love about them is they BEEP a LOT. They beep when they are off balance, they beep I’d the kids falls off, they beep about everything, it’s a little excessive. Otherwise they function really well. Battery lasts a good amount of time. Overall happy!

I purchased this product in June. My children began using it in July. It did not last 3 weeks before it mailfunctioned. I also paid for the ASURION 2 Year protction plan from Amazon. When I contacted ASURION, they said I was not covered. To prove I am covered I sent them my purchase statments. Now I am waiting to see what happens next. Next, I am contacting Amazon to see what they say. This is very frustrating.

This is my second purchase for Hover1 product. I had bought Hover1 -100 earlier and kids used it for more than one year with no complains. I had bough hover board earlier which i had to return either because it will not calibrate or throw kid off the hover board with jitters. Love Hover1 products. This one was purchased in thanksgiving deal and turned out to be great gift. Nephew is very happy and i saw him ride and could see that lighting effects are so cool on this model and so is sound system and battery lasts well as well. Happy customer for this model.
