This contraption is so cool. I like high quality items that are functional, look good, and will last many years. This cart (so far, to my best estimate) meets all of these requirements. The materials are durable and it makes laundry so much easier. For the first time in my life, I actually got excited about doing laundry! I'm currently in process of redesigning our laundry room in order to make it function better. Historically, it's been a mess and seemed to have a black hole that consumed garments. This is the first laundry butler cart I've ever owned and I'm glad that I made the investment. It's saving so much time and is helping me keep up with the laundry room. Rather than making multiple trips to and from the laundry room, I can simply load everything onto the cart...... One trip and its knocked out! This is especially helpful with my kid's clothes. I found myself constantly on her case to get her clothes from the laundry room and she would almost always leave a couple things behind. Now I can stick everything onto the cart. No more lingering articles! I love the idea of having a designated cart for clean clothes. It always felt wrong putting freshly laundered items in a hamper that was just holding dirty laundry. (It's the things you can't see that concern me, AKA pathogens/microbes.) The little shelf on the bottom is perfect for sorting and the garment rack makes it easy to transport outfits that you don't want to get wrinkled. This cart has helped me cut down on laundry time. The handle makes it easy to maneuver the cart and it glides easily across the floor. It stays in place when the caster breaks are engaged... And the breaks transition smoothly between locked and unlocked. The materials are very solid and durable. It can handle some abuse. There's no finish that can peel off over time. To me, the greatest proof that an item is durable is if it can withstand being disassembled without damage. As a result of going "rogue" and not using the directions, I initially placed the cart on backwards. This caused me to have to take apart the entire unit (almost) and put it back together correctly. The cart did not suffer any damage during this process. Speaking of putting it together... Assembly was NOT simple. In my opinion, the instructions were of little use, other than helping me inventory the enclosed parts. I consider myself to have mad skills at putting things together, but this thing was a little tricky. Overall, it took me around 45 minutes to assemble it. Despite the assembly, I still feel that this cart deserves 5-Stars. It functions great, look good, and is an awesome value. Plus, it seems like it's going to last a looooooong time TIP: Ensure that the cart is facing the right way before you start assembling the pole and garment rack. There's a cut out that the pole sets into. The cart and pole must BOTH be facing the proper direction in order for the unit to be assembled successfully. Also... I'm searching for a little wire basket to place on the pole for clean socks. (Hoping this will help us all with pairing our missing sock mates!) I want to hang it on the part that looks like a loop, where the pole meets the garment rod. Once I find it, I plan to take that section apart, hang the basket, and put it back together so it will serve as a permanently attached sock accessory. The cart is nicely made, easy to assemble too. Directions are very clear. Took me about 40 minutes to put it together because I made a mistake. Rolls nicely on carpet. Is a great height for folding right out of the dryer and transporting hanging steamed or ironed items but hanging rod does slightly tip if loaded up. So nice to have a locking wheel on both sides but because I use it on carpet, I have yet to locked the wheels. Love the bottom shelf too, occasionally need the extra space. It also was handy for temporary duty for a small party. Coats hung, purses in the basket and wet shoes on the bottom rack. Heavy coats were laid over the basket. Love it and would buy again. ... show more

This cart is a nice laundry cart - I've been using this cart for a few days and enjoy the ease in which I can transport my laundry to the laundry room on the floor in my condo building. The assembly of this product takes a little effort - not overwhelming, but the biggest challenge was reading the one page sheet of instructions - I could not believe how tiny the print was. It is easier to go to the manufacturers website and pull up the document because you can zoom in to make it easier to read and see the diagram. I was disappointed in that the two curved bars which the wheels pop into was missing a part. There is a black plastic insert in which you simply pop the wheel into and it sticks - one of these was missing so I had to call the manufacturer and have them ship me a new part which took 4 days to arrive so I could not use the product immediately. The cart can be a bit awkward to push - given it has only one bar - it would be easier if it had a handle bar similar to a grocery cart - the basket is too low to bend over and push it this way so you sort of just grab the vertical bar and drag it. The metal basket is not quite as deep as it appears in the product photo. Overall I would recommend this cart. I have to disagree with reviews that stated this was difficult to assemble. Not only is it super easy and absolutely a "no brain required" to assemble, it has easy to follow written instructions and unless you're blind...just look at the colored pictures! This senior lady had it together in less than 15 minutes !t is well made and exactly as described. I haven't used it for laundry yet, but I intend to park it in the master closet and wheel the dirty clothes over to the laundry room and wheel the clean stuff back to the master. Easy peasy, just like the assembly! And if the metal basket proves to be too shallow, then I will simply place a traditional plastic laundry basket inside the metal one. 5 stars from me. ... show more

I ordered a different brand white one and it was such garbage I sent it back. Then I ordered this one and I love it. It was fairly easy to assemble and the basket was large enough. Wheels work great and it is good quality for the price.

    • CASTER WHEELS DONT ATTACH
The caster wheels have a plastic insert that "clicks" when the wheels are in place. I ordered this for my 78 yo mother to use to move laundry around the house. The first one came and two of the plastic inserts were broken, letting the wheels fall off. Not good, so I returned it. Amazon was great about replacing it immediately. However, the second one arrived and one of the wheels would not stay in place because of the plastic insert. By this time, I was POd and grabbed the duct tape, redneck style and taped the damn thing to the frame. It is working fine. Mother loves the help around the house. One of the wheels is not as active as the others...wonder why...Hey Manufacturer! Use better materials. The rest of the cart is fantastic, made of great materials, tough and will last forever. Too bad about the crappy inserts. Make sure to buy duct tape, if you buy this laundry butler. ... show more
